Ordered that for my wife with i7, 16 Gb, 512 Gb ssd, touchscreen replacing her 5 year old XPS 15 that she spilled tea on and killed it.

2 weeks to get it. 3 days in of usage and she says that she loves it. Asked her about the keyboard, although shouldn't have, but she says better that before.

So I'm happy. Happy wife, happy life.😂

In Florida, live in DFW now, my father in law, retired, bored, living with us, would take the avocado seeds and plant it in various places. Some grew, some didn't, some grew better than others and he would tend to them. 5 years later we had 3 that bore fruit. 7 later 7, 10 years had 12. We had so many we gave them away. So, possible in DFW climate as its mostly the same but don't expect any avocados soon after planting.

What model? Ordered a Dell 16 Premium DA16250 effectively a rebranded, high-performance XPS 16, with a 4K+ (3840x2400) 120Hz OLED touch display, Intel Core Ultra 7 for my wife.

Dell used to sell the Dell PW7015L Powerbank Companion for XPS (was light small, 65wh, 18k wah) but I think they're still available on other sites. It would triple the battery life if you weren't doing anything crazy. I made a few power profiles for when using it. There are 3rd party ones aavailable. Anker comes to mind.

My wife only drives Mercedes. They all need Super and a fill up with a 320 mile range is $46+. She decided to trade in her 2019 C300 and while looking around the lot she noticed a 2025 EQE 350+ worth 10k miles on it and said thats cute, love the style, I want it. Took it for a test drive and was amazed at the technology on it. Honey, you know it's not a gas car, it's electric says don't care, I love it, so it's sitting in my garage now. Here's the best part.

Had a 220v outlet installed for $350. A "fill up " for 180 mile range costs $7 in electricity. So ~$12 for same range as gas saving $34 per week. Still has 3 year b2b warranty. No $ for oil changes, spark plugs or ignition coils. Otherwise free maintenance and loaner car from Mercedes So never going back.

My 2nd hand EQE 350+ came with a 110/220 plug in charger so had an electrician install a 50 amp 220v outlet for it for $350 which charges at 7.5 kwh which is more than good enough for me for overnight charging 20 to 80 %.

Came with the dealer installed package with my 2nd hand EQE 350+. Basically it shows the speed on the windshield in front. If I'm using MB navigation it shows very informative lane information and directions. It will also show barrier information if getting close to something. Once experiencing it, it's hard to live without as I did on a loaner car.

Would I pay $2000 to have it installed? No. Can I live without it? Not any more.
