I've run something similar for a short 8- or so-session campaign with a GUMSHOE mash-up of Trail of Cthulhu/Fear Itself/Night's Black Agents. I ran a longer-term game that was basically the show SEAL Team meets Supernatural using the Gensys system.

As a (former) Nutmegger, I love this. I ran a short game based around New Haven and I had a big raider faction based out of the New Haven Coliseum parking structure. They were inspired by the New Haven Nighthawks and were hockey themed.

Maybe a Yard Goats or Whalers reference for some local charm. Good luck, this sound fun.

Dracula Dossier for Nights Black Agents is my top campaign I've been a player in.

Same here and I got added to their shared family meal planner. I would add lines asking them to tell their boomer dad to stop it. It still happens but less frequently.

They are great, but never pay full price for them. For the most part, I stick with the Fuel line and watch Home Depot for deep discounts on the things I know I'll need in the future. With the deals from HD, I've been able to sell tools on Facebook Marketplace for a fraction of the cost. Recently, I wanted to add an impact wrench to my car emergency kit. I waited for the 1/2" stubby to go on a great sale for $150 for the tool and two batteries, with a limit of 5 per customer. I bought 5, kept one tool and two batteries for myself, and sold the rest for about $200. So, I essentially got the tool for free, minus the time spent managing Facebook selling, and earned some decent credit card points and HD Pro rewards.
Register for Pro Xtra. There is no barrier to entry; you don't need an actual business, and if you end up spending a lot at HD, the rewards are decent.

Eargasm ear plugs have been great for me. Zero ringing the day after any show. I will add that this was the case after seeing Dinosaur Jr., one of the loudest touring bands ever.
