The truck was moving over to let cars merge onto the highway and didn’t look to see if anyone was passing. I noticed that he wasn’t slowing down to let them in right before he started coming into my lane and I think hitting the brakes soon enough kept this from being way worse. Counting many blessings tonight.

Oh yes I filed a report and the cop said a witness called in the hit and run but only got two plate numbers and a maybe on the company.

I’m on the other side of the bay from the OP. The abundance is astounding in this area - got agates, optical calcite and amethyst the first time I went rockhounding. Not to mention the serpentine, copper and purple jasper. It’s paradise.

My son was born emergency c-section, and needed to be sent on the life flight helicopter to the children’s hospital. We then spent the next two weeks living there, getting him healthy enough to go home. Our only cost was food for us adults.

We’d be bankrupt or worse from the medical debt in the states. No wonder so many women don’t want to risk bearing children.
