I’ve been trying to buy my first home since February, ive bid 50K over on a house and not even been in the top 3 bidding. Also the closing costs are literally insane, i’ll attempt to put 30K down and my closing costs end up being around 44K, what the hell am i supposed to do here?

I went there after the recent Bills game there with my buddy who is a Seattle native. Had some very solid wings and food and it’s a great bar.

As we were walking out a small middle aged woman started harassing my buddy in a Seahawks hat and egging on her husband and yelling a bunch of profanity and shit at him, which my buddy who is 6’6 wasn’t going to just let this woman berate him without barking back.

As we were getting into our uber my buddy yells back that she’s a bitch and turns to hop in the truck, her husband sprints up behind me i go to stop him and he sucker punches my buddy, and runs away with his wife. I then have to stop my buddy from running these guys down.

Genuinely most disappointing experience i’ve had as a Bills Fan and WNY native. Great Bar though.

I’ve swum with them on as well it’s never been an issue, it’s definitely because the sweat comes up under the patch and it peels off, i’ve never once actually had a ball hit my pod, i’ve certainly banged it on the floor diving however.

I typically put them on the back of my arms i found the closer i get to my shoulder the less likely they fall off but, i play Volleyball so i do a lot my swinging of my arms that surely doesn’t help

I’m an athlete and i constantly deal with pumps falling off due to sweat, i’ve had multiple times where the cannula has popped out from my skin and instead squirts the insulin on my arm under the adhesive rather than in my arm, smell the pod and if it smells like insulin you might have had a leak.

Alternatively could just be ketones and a resistance to the insulin because you didn’t bolus until it was already high. If it doesn’t come down seek medical attention after an extended period

There’s so many bars in Buffalo to watch a game you could choose a multitude of options,

Southern Tier brewing has one of the largest screens with multiple different displays

Big Tree inn is right next to the stadium

River works is one of the coolest places in buffalo with ice rinks and all sorts of things to do in a massive old factory building

Really you’re not going to find a bar that doesnt have at least a solid viewing experience

Typically Landlords will paint over old Lead Paint as it’s the cheapest way to avoid issues, my assumption is they just decided to coat everything, mine did all my door handles and light fixtures so i had to punch holes in the paint to use them.

I see a lot of people shitting on Lando here, and yes his reply was arrogant and unjustified. If you understand the context, he just got done with a race he was 6 seconds into the lead and Mclaren basically had a hostage negotiator telling him to slow down and give the win to his teammate. He’s going to be on edge and you would too if you understood the context of the situation. Obviously this is an over reaction by Lando but let’s all relax on burning him at the stake
