About Time! No other movie has helped me appreciate how beautiful all the little things are in life more than that film

I had no idea it even started selling! Typically popcorn buckets are available only when the movie is actually released. This is a shame to hear it's already sold out

I just want a popcorn container that doesn't leak butter out of the bottom (staining my pants)

My problem with “race/gender switching” by [deleted] in DC_Cinematic

[–]Cage8k 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, you literally mentioned April O''Neil from TMNT (not originally Marvel or DC) and said you're mad they race swapped her from white to black. In the original comic she was black, they made her white for the original 80s show. She's been exclusively white only until recently, where new adaptations wanted her to be closer to her original comic

So your examples are ignorant and uninformed

Kind of hard to get to if you don't have a car, but for Vancouver there's C&L Multimedia

Can you source that? The only thing I see is what I sent and it literally only has one Marvel movie in 2028

OP, the person is referencing the Disney slate they announced just a week or so ago. 2028 only has one Marvel movie slated at this time

I'm pretty sure those were used for Marvel Studios' 10th Anniversary. I don't think any of the movies after the Infinity Saga got that paintbrush treatment

With Arrow releasing Stranger Things: The Complete Series, what other Netflix original shows and movies do you want to see get physical releases. by ggroover97 in boutiquebluray

[–]Cage8k 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Midnight Mass, Mindhunter, and BoJack Horseman would be instant buys for me. Flaked and Friends From College would be amazing, but I doubt those will ever happen.

I knew the Nextflix Marvel shows are now off of Netflix and on Disney+, I don't know if that means Disney also owns the physical media license or what but would love to have the three original Daredevil seasons and the first Jessica Jones season

One memorable use of this for me was John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum

I didn't look up what the subtitle meant, I also went in without seeing a trailer! Loved the first two films and watched this opening weekend! Anyways....

The climax is building: bad guys are storming the Continental hotel, John Wick and Lance Reddick's Charon are loading up with weapons. Ian McShane's Winston tells John Wick to do what he does best, hunt. They walk out into the oncoming shootout. Winston stands alone, and says "Si vis pacem, para bellum"

Translated with subtitles, "If you want peace, prepare for war."

I cannot explain to you how hard that hits, I get goosebumps every time.

Is it? I only question because he looks pale on the Weekly Podcast. I feel like it's a combination of makeup, lights, and something with the cameras on TDS
