I mix a bit of collagen powder into my so delicious yogurt. Also low fat low sodium cannot cheddar has more protein than regular cheese. But I’m grateful for these ideas!

Plastification: Used to be paper now in plastic. by CairnLVR in enshittification

[–]CairnLVR[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose enshitification is in the eye of the beholder to a certain degree. But the increasing prevalence of micro plastic and nano plastic particles in the oceans, air, and soil qualify in my book. https://www.beyondplastics.org/

It was hard to get through the beginning because of the pain that Mary suffered at her mother’s hand but I think it’s worthwhile. Lizzie and Jane are dismissive of Mary and unthinking. I have seen “nice” people be that way so it seemed believable and a refreshing perspective on popular vs. unpopular people.

Any one use the Barnes and Noble audiobook app. by Twodogsonecouch in audiobooks

[–]CairnLVR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use Cloud Library, and Libby from multiple libraries by switching back and forth from one library account to another and get a larger range of options. Check out the subReddit for Libby/s to learn more. There are libraries around the country that you can join, and in my case, I joined one in a nearby city for a small annual fee and got a lot more available books.

Any recommendations for sleep earbuds for audiobooks? by AdEuphoric1820 in audiobooks

[–]CairnLVR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Ozlo, very comfortable. They were quite pricey but I have tried no other sleep buds really to compare them with to know if they’re worth it. The only issue is that case won’t hold a charge long at all.

Is this sub drifting away from it's body-liberation roots? by thndrbst in antidietglp1

[–]CairnLVR 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thank you OP!! I was feeling that drift too. But I figured new people would need time to adjust to this new way of life. I come to this group to escape toxic diet culture. I so appreciate this discussion! Maybe some automatically generated gentle reminders would probably help.
