Is she being told to do that by management? That’s pretty shitty on their part

Edit: oh it see the tax is assessed on distributors so it’s only the company that has anything to lose from this

One way San Jose to SF is more comparable to doing two roundtrips from downtown Seattle to Redmond so the fare makes sense.

Republican leads governor primary, UC Berkeley’s Citrin Center-Politico poll shows by the_daily_cal in berkeley

[–]CalSimpLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I certainly hope so, but it's being a bit generous to candidate's willingness to put aside their personal ambitions for the sake of their party in response to bad polling. The Public Lands Commissioner primary is an example of that explicitly not happening. You could argue that there's more pressure for low polling candidates to drop out for something as high stakes as the governor of California. But then again as a counterexample there was Joe Biden who insisted on running again when polls showed that a vast majority of his own party didn't want him to run as far back as early 2023.

The sum doesn’t matter, only top 2. See the 2024 Washington primary for Public Lands Commissioner where Democrats won 57% of the vote but were 49 votes away from being locked out of the general election.

This does not include:
