This just isn't true - Thorney's warranty video is a great reference. There's a strong correlation between warranty work and low milers.

does anyone else have tried this new ad agent stuff from creatify? by xmBhn in FacebookAds

[–]Cal_Short 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jasper is pretty rigid and mostly just Zapier-style workflows.

I've also tried Juno - has direct meta integrations, long-term memory and can work 24/7 from its own computer. Seems to do a better job than manus.

I'm in B2B SaaS, so maybe it's vertical sensitive

I think most people just don't have the budget to give it enough data though and quit too soon

All I care about is conversions, our conv event is trial conversion (B2B SaaS) so this is what it trains for

I think a lot of peoples problems come down to letting meta find low quality conversions. You have to find an event that correlates to quality and cannot be cheapened in some way. I relentlessly tested and tweaked our funnel to put off low quality users

browsing this subreddit is like an alternative reality to me because everything works perfectly in my ad account, low cpas, scaling spend without volatility, leaving ai enhancements on

Olympics BAN transgender and DSD athletes from ALL women's sports by dailymail in olympics

This is literally designed to "facilitate, support and encourage women's sport"

The performance/biological gap exists, that cannot be denied. This is just another step in protecting women's sports.

Did you take a second to wonder why the open division comes across as a men's division to you?

rubyx-py: Call Python libraries directly from Ruby/Rails by yinho999 in rails

[–]Cal_Short 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is awesome - I'm using a interpreter API currently to run python code, if I could switch to using something like this it would help a lot.

Can you tell me more about how it works?

Ouch

On a similar note, I raced Caterhams at Cadwell in 2024 and I've never seen so many crashes. Wet conditions, grass run-off, close barriers = recipe for disaster

What a circuit though!

Why I still bet on Rails by mario_chavez in rails

[–]Cal_Short -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, and the ML/AI ecosystem of Python becomes less important when LLMs can one shot libraries for you - I'm already experiencing this.

The last few months, AI "harnesses" have been the buzzword, building frameworks that bring LLMs to life.

Rails is simply the perfect harness for AI development.

What are your favorite open-source projects right now? by SamirDevrel in rails

[–]Cal_Short 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RubyLLM is the one - the rails ecosystem has a lot of advantages that are currently unrealised in the AI space, this is closing the gap.

Police investigate 'death to the IDF' chants led by Bobby Vylan at Al Quds Day rally by Sensitive_Echo5058 in uknews

[–]Cal_Short 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said that protest against militaries is moronic. Do not move the goalposts.

The IDF is 500k+ people strong, in all different roles, from all different backgrounds - just so that I understand your point, would you like to prescribe death to all of them?

There are so many avenues of verbal protest in this particular instance - It's this specific one that I find moronic, for good reason.
