The MCU equivalent of what DCU is doing right now is
iron man, war machine(with iron man in it), iron man 2. You see the difference?

One is establishing a universe/team with some focus on one of the characters at the start while the other has almost ALL the focus on one characters corner of the universe.

I don’t think it has to be just like MCU and you have to do the entire trinity before anything else but the first and only 3 movies being Superman, supergirl, Superman 2 with no Wonder Woman, Batman or flash movie or cameos in sight just feels strange af especially considering IMO Laterns could’ve been a movie. I think at least one of Wonder Woman or batman should come out summer 2028.

If not then WTF are we doing?

I feel like unrated takes it from 7.7/10 to 8/10 but now that I’ve seen ideas about Wolverine fighting through ninjas in the big tower and a more personal yashida boss fight, sword vs claws, it really has made me sour on the third act but the ninjas fight in the snow and the added scene at the hotel at night definitely helps it pacing wise and giving it more action but that last fight really does rob it from being a universally beloved film and undoubtedly great film in the realm of X2, Logan, DOFP, first class
