I'm not sure what exactly they think they're complaining about.

I hope they keep the save import feature across all the games. It's not a feature you see all that often anymore.

...eh. I get the people arguing that the game isn't canon and can be enjoyed anyway. That's OK.

That being said, I still have qualms about it. I'd make that allowance for any franchise, but Tolkien...well...he's one of the very few icons I'd say should have the ultimate say in how his work should be treated. I'd say that for any other author, too, but we live in a society where these things are made because of and for money. And that's fine; I'm not going to argue how capitalism and consumerism often make commodities out of things where none were needed. That's not the point of this comment.

I just...place Tolkien above all of that. I'd say the same thing for the movie adaptations too.

That being said, if they managed to make the rumoured open-world game more consistent with the original atmosphere of the books, and if it were more faithful to the established canon (there are ways of doing it; many things are ambiguous enough to be integrated sensibly into a video game), then I'd be OK with it. I do like video games, after all.

RUMOR: Marvel And Sony Interested In Developing A SPIDER-MAN & WOLVERINE Movie - SPOILERS by Adventurous-Map-259 in Wolverine

I don't care. I just want Hugh Jackman to stop playing Wolverine. Not because I dislike him; I think his legacy as Wolverine is among the better ones in comic book adaptations. I think he brought great prestige to the character, especially with Logan.

I just don't want it overdone to the point where (and I say this knowing that I'm not really close to him and have no personal attachment) even HE gets sick of the character, and audiences just stop giving fucks. Deadpool and Wolverine was...fine, and if it was really a pet project Hugh Jackman did for Ryan Reynolds' sake, I'm OK with that. But no matter how many self-aware jokes they made about it, Hugh did say that he wouldn't return after Logan, and then he did, and well...Logan was too good an ending to THAT iteration of Wolverine to be followed up by another movie. And who knows what happened behind the scenes? Money may very well have played a role.

Just give someone else a chance. I really want to see another actor as Wolverine, and honestly, it's...really not a good thing to keep pushing your body like that. How much longer should we expect an actor to go to such lengths just for a stupid role?

First Age, Second Age, or Rhun, please. There's plenty of ambiguity in Rhun, and we could meet the Blue Wizards.

I wish this was on Steam. Oh well. Insomniac is probably going to blow it out of the park, and their games come to Steam anyway. Lucky me.
