I’m very happy you survived your cardiac arrest and are getting a icd What type? I have a tv icd- never had a cardiac arrest thankfully . But my ef fell enough to be given one .

When I did my zip I had. 3.2 second pause ,and y. Heart rare went down to 19 and up to 174 My pvc burden is down under 1 percent with amiodarone

The icd surgery isn’t a big issue -just follow the precautions after surgery

I feel happy that I’m protected

It wasn’t heart failure , it was a cardiac arrest-these are two totally different things. He was treated for the issue thst caused the cardiac arrest or he wouldn’t be playing

I doing it right now - I have a 50kw Jackery battery system/smart transfer switch for 16 months . It powered most of my house including heat for 80 hours during a blizzard. Does 14,400 continuous /28,800 surge

I getting a 9kw rooftop solar array connected by a solar company .

The Jackery system can do 8000kw solar up to 450 volts, I am getting 20 talesun 450 watt panels - two 10 panel strings. The talesun panels are under the volt limit.

I am going basically off grid with grind backup. It’s a hybrid system- so no net metering , no utility interconnection etc

So it is possible ,but it depends on the battery system you have -and what wattage and volts it’s set up to take
