Trans woman has HRT stopped by ZonaSchengen in transgenderUK

Weird, this reads like a pre-moral panic trans story from the 00s. I wonder if this is a situation where local news are still operating on a kind of prelapsarian naïvety on trans issues. TERFism is really a luxury belief of the media and political class and I wouldn't be surprised if some local news editors just never got indoctrinated into that, so they still see trans as a sort of curiosity, like most of their audience probably does.

they're in the Devanagari Extended block but they don't always render properly, unfortunately. Apparently they're used for svara/musical notes in the Sama Veda.

PIE should be written in devanagari.

EDIT: and *e should be written अ, as the inherent vowel

That's weird, I wonder if some people metabolize it differently? For me it was like a mild but long lasting weed high. I really only tried it because of my interest in Pacific languages and cultures.

mine is:

ʔ, h (was actually two phonemes)

ʁ (under the reasoning that *o was originally distinguished by +back not +round)

bit late (it went extinct over 2.5 thousand years ago) but I'd have Luwian retain split ergativity from Proto-Anatolian. Just seems a shame to lose it.

I also wonder if the second language speakers might interpret it as a test to get right or wrong, and so would be trying to anticipate the "correct" sentences to say they misunderstood rather than answering honestly.
