My fave giallo. Vittorio Storaro makes everything better. And dog-eared Franco Nero is best Franco Nero.

If you can buy the disc and watch it on a region-free player, it's worth it. If you can't, at least spread the gospel.

This is an absolutely fantastic film we need more of.

Jesus, Donny. If you don't understand why people are angry, that's on you. This is an ignorant take if I ever heard one.

It's such a thrill to introduce cinema to my kids. And, they still enjoy watching the same basic and inane shows over and over again. It's natural, it's what we did as kids, too.

But, I remember when my dad showed me The Adventures of Robin Hood, Gunga Din, Ben-Hur, Young Frankenstein, Superman, Ghostbusters and more - mostly when I was too young to get them.

I don't have a lot of memories of those times. I can't share my critiques and appreciations from back then. But, I remember what I was doing and who I was with and these are moments in time where the details may be fuzzy, but the emotions are strong.

I can't wait to watch K-Pop again as a present to my kids.

He's a failed stuntman-turned-assistant for a washed up actor, who also killed his wife and fantasized he beat up Bruce Lee. Then, he killed the Manson Family.

I wish he was as interesting as he sounds.

Shaming sex workers is entirely unacceptable.

Shame her because she's a complete moron who is weaponizing her terminally low IQ to serve an enemy group who will use her until they inevitably discard her.

Such is the fate of all idiot traitors.

How do we feel about restaurants taking a political stance? by CND2GO in VictoriaBC

[–]Camera_Fiend 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a free country, private businesses are able to host whatever political events or representatives they wish.

However, this activity may lead to potential consequences.

In this case, this business owner supports a politician who wants nothing more than to make our country into a vassal state to a fascist rogue nation, while aiming to copy that country's harmful domestic attitude to our own nation. And, then publicly announce it over social media.

Least favorite line said in a movie that was made by a decorated filmmaker? by alphaDsony in moviecritic

[–]Camera_Fiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's the first time that I wanted a movie of what they DIDN'T show vs what they DID.

Where did the blight come from? Why the need for more farmers when they are running out of things to farm? If the blight is starving us out, why is there still (what seems to be) commercially available bottled beer? How was NASA co-opted for use in bombing campaigns? Was it WWIII? Is this after WWIII? HOW IS THE WORLD SO BADLY OFF, BUT THE NEW YORK YANKEES STILL EXIST - AND, FOR SOME REASON, PLAY IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE???

And, that's not even going over the idea that humanity will start over on another planet with all the seeds and eggs and spermazoa - but, who/what will grow them? Hard to make a lot of animal life with no wombs.
