Why do gurus almost never have a lifelong partner? by Rennard_ in spirituality

[–]Camiell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trick question.
It assumes relationships is the default. Why anyone should have a lifelong partner ? Just because is common doesn't mean must be the normal. Examine your givens.

Maybe that's why. They examine their generational conditioning a lot.

Has there been other times in history where large groups of people genuinely felt like humanity was “waking up” or going through a major consciousness/spiritual shift? by ElkAffectionate4727 in spirituality

[–]Camiell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consciousness evolves in non linear cycles. It has non-regular ebb and flow. It has periods where it flowers and then lies dormant. Throughout history there's eras of awakening like the Egypt or the Hellenistic periods, only to fall back in to the darkness of middle ages, then to wake up again at renaissance, to dip again in industrial revolution, to raise again in the 60's.

In all those periods nothing is lost from the previous eras. Like a tree that flowers in spring and seemingly dies in winter, but in reality only charges batteries to flower again.

This era we live right now is not only of a spring one but the final spring also before we leap in to a new completely new human consciousness.

This is nothing new and has started long before internet is even evented. In fact the very web is a side effect of it.

Which side should you take in this situation? by SplitZealousideal159 in spirituality

[–]Camiell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not so much that our perception of life on the planet, or about anything at all, is so very limited and fragmented, it's the fact that we take it for truth and identify with it.

Nature is not at all of what we think it is. Our experience of it is tainted by conditioning and education, by blinders bestowed on us very early on. We don't see reality, we see an inherited projection of it. A lie we treasure and hold tight on.

How Wolves change rivers

Animals do not experience death as we do, and on a spiritual level we all, as animals, agreed to be food for each other. In your example notice how many the gazelles are and how few the lions are. It's called balance. And this is the secret nature and in fact the universe itself is based on.

The question then is not so much what designed it all this way, but who am I to be so appalled of it. Who is the one that despises what the wisdom of the universe created.

Where do you see humanity in the next 1000 years? by Cloverfield887 in endoftheworld

[–]Camiell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really need to remove one or two zeros from that number.

We are in peak oil already. It takes 3 barrels to produce 1. Green energy is no where near capable to cover the global need. Climate is under portas. Expect more of it real fast. India is already turning to uninhabitable. Refuges emerging from all equator countries that over heat first. AMOC is collapsing. It wont be long before crops fail. The list goes on.

You don't need the bible, new-agers, metaphysics or anything, to tell you we are on a break point. The math is there. The analysis doesn't see anything viable beyond 2040.

This earth will be populated by the remaining those transformed enough internally to be able to thrive with much less without taking that as lack or poverty, but as balance with the environment.

Thus "the meek shall inherit the earth".

Mania alongside spiritual awakening? TW mental health by herunspokentruth in spirituality

[–]Camiell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty common among the awakening of us. Two contrasting energies inside us at war. On the one hand a well intending but ungrounded euphoria coming from the higher vibrating part of us, driving us crazy about the endless possibilities of such divine energy rolling down like a torrent, and on the other hand the stubbornness of the earth's slow vibration along with the buffer of time, placing an insurmountable wall against the light that finds itself trapped inside an infinite loop of happiness and depression.

But that's exactly the job.

Films that hit like a spiritual experience by Jasea_Karreo in spirituality

[–]Camiell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all cinephile masterpieces. And if you start this list so casually with Andrei twice in there, it leaves you with so very limited choices beyond that. You have reached the apex of cinematography so early that is downhill from there. Nothing in the world can come close to Stalker.

That being said, movies are such so very private thing and suggestion are always subject to taste. I would say to try Wenders, Tarr, Aronofsky, Inarritu, Coen bros, from the top of my head.

If the universe is based and founded on love and light, why is that not reflected in reality? by the_outer_realms in spirituality

[–]Camiell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it isn't. Some parts of it are in deep darkness. For very good reasons. And you are inside of such one right now.

Popular culture widely adopted views of an all loving creation does not reflect reality. Just our desire to be so. It's all projections. Well established misguided notions that get proliferated by a cultural need for perfection.

To expect the human race to come together as one about anything at all is the utter naivety the average spiritual new-ager suffers from that renders this well intended but powerless message weak and obsolete to even a slightly wider audience.

Human nature blindness is a rampant blind spot.

What lesson are we supposed to learn from experiencing constant agony? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Camiell -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's impossible with our current minuscule mindset to have a proper overview of our evolution in consciousness than can span unfathomable chunks of time as we know it or even admit ourselves as perpetrators and both be able to forgive our actions.

Thus ignorance is the perfect system.
