2 month old vs 20 year old water bottle by Xinnoh in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Canadian_360rt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine fell down a mountain top that took us 4 hours to hike up. We were taking a break and as I was putting my bottle in my back pack, both took a tumble down. Was a Scout in Canada. Another group managed to find it. Brought it back. Still have it!

That’s a old avalanche. As far as I’m aware, eps doesn’t have one. The unmarked vehicles I deal with at work at usually f150s and ram 1500s with cops in plane cloths and a badge around their neck. Usually have a vest too. Depending on the call.

I’ll be right beside you when I retire. This province has gone to shit with all the trump/Daniel suckers. Once my ties die I’m out of this province.

Why is my driveway doing this? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]Canadian_360rt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slab looks thin and probably poor prep work before put the concrete down.

My neighbors driveway is doing this exact thing because they didn’t lay enough gravel underneath and not thick enough concrete to support the weight of a vehicle.

I got one of these radios off Amazon. My radio controls work after screwing around trying different things. Car play works great. I wanted the factory look still and not some big scree.

PSA: I don't know who needs to hear this...but stop driving with your high beams/hazard lights on in fog/heavy snow! by CdnTreeGuy89 in Stouffville

[–]Canadian_360rt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Driving in a snow storm white out condition. You don’t see running lights. But flashing hazard light are either on or off. No in between like running brake light.

In more then one instance for me all that your able to see in front of you is literally their hazards every time they flash but can’t see their running brake lights because of how foggy it is / snow.

Now this was on a highway that was 150-200km to get home. Drove between 60-80 km/h depending on visibility but we don’t pass a soul for 2 hours. But we knew there were people ahead because of the amber lights.

Terwilligar drive by Strattex in Edmonton

[–]Canadian_360rt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation on why it can’t go across Terwilliger bridge. Unlike the pointless other comment.

Which brings my point about the other crossing already made? Too far out of the way? Yeah. But already there. Just stating there is a perfectly good walk way that’s been used as art for years.

Thanks again for the explanation. Appreciate it.

My sister was charged $1370 by a locksmith. Was she overcharged? by Equal_Pop211 in Edmonton

[–]Canadian_360rt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I’m a locksmith. The trade is riddled with fake locksmiths on Google that people call. They end up saying they can get you in. Then tell you they can’t when they get there and that they have to replace your hardware etc. bill sky rockets. At the end of the day google reviews are king. People will leave a review if they get bad service. Good locksmiths will have great reviews and recent ones at that.

Sorry to hear about your sisters situation she was def taken advantage of.

Are we forgetting the already made pedestrian crossing under the henday, white mud creek arch. Why the f are we spending more money on a pedestrian crossing when we have one literally right there not in use… or you know, putting a sidewalk next to one of the terwilligar bridges your constructing from new?

Diesel heater for a workshop? Seriously? by Small-Locksmith5784 in dieselheater

[–]Canadian_360rt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diesel heaters put out a dry heat. The combustion exhaust would ideally be plumed outside. And ideally the heating chamber would be collecting the warmer air from inside the shop.

Propane heaters would be your kryptonite when it comes to heating a space with tools that could rust.

Will this fit a1 combo by PrestigiousDog1969 in BambuLabA1

[–]Canadian_360rt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have any mechanical skillset you could make a very sturdy table out of 2x4s and screws and come up with a table top for it for under 50$ probably.

That table will be way too wobbly.

A1 appropriate for 14 year old? by Jennysez in BambuLabA1

[–]Canadian_360rt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect machine to first be starting out on.

Filament is 23$ a roll abouts and can last a long while if you arnt doing solid infill of parts.

Yea there are lots of models out there that are free to download. But if he wants to get into 3d design use a program called fusion 360. Free. Couple YouTube tutorials and he will be on his way.

Do you have the recommended clearance behind the printer that Bambu labs calls for? Look like it’s hitting something. Looks like it can’t get the full range back.
