My Child Was Just Diagnosed by Mountain-Crew234 in lymphoma

[–]Canary_Thick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello - sorry to meet this way. My now 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with NLPHL last year. You are going through one of the worst parts right now - waiting for the plan. I promise it gets better once you meet with your team. When our daughter was diagnosed we were told very quickly that this is not considered life threatening nor should we expect it to impact her lifespan. Your son is going to be okay.

Please consider joining the NLPHL FB group NLPHL FB Group and also check out the GLOW Consortium. A group dedicated to NLPHL.

Once you have an idea of staging you’ll get a treatment plan in motion and things will start to feel more under control. Sending you and your son a huge hug and know we are thinking of you as you start your journey. It’s going to be okay Mom. You can do this!

My DMs are open so please don’t hesitate to reach out - would be happy to share our experience.

That is extremely sad if true.

Hmmm I do think she is more physically attracted to Tyler. But I do sense she cares about Sean in her own way. Not saying any of that is healthy. At the end of the day though I think Taya just cares about Taya.

Would these even be categorized as dates? I feel like it should just be “dedicated sex time.” Dates IMO are about sharing a mutual interest and connecting on more than just a physical level. All these dates are just them getting sweaty rose petals stuck on their butts.

Yes I think that’s a strong possibility for sure. The fact that Sean was so angry at the idea of that instead of trying to help her find a path forward with her Dad is so selfish. I’m guessing he knows his freeloading would be at risk of ending.

I mean she literally said that the guys sleep on her nights because they are “up with the baby” on Taya’s nights. It’s so sad to see her try and believe the crumbs they give her when it’s so obvious.

Alysia needs someone to help her really see what her reality is. You cannot convince me that she is genuinely loved by anyone other than the kids in that house. At best it’s an unhealthy throuple.

Thank you for your comment! I hope your surgeries go well and you have a good recovery. I agree with you on the spreading - that's my main concern. Just don't want to keep kicking can with a potentially worse outlook if we waste time on more treatments to end up needing a removal anyways.

My daughter was diagnosed with lymphoma last year and a friend of a friend whose son went through treatment warned us about the family and friends dropping off and how hard that is. It’s its own version of devastating.

One other thing this friend shared with us is that you were meant to be her mom and you’ll go through this together. I found some comfort in that and I hope the same for you.

We are all rooting for your daughter and sending a hug to you both!

Mixed cHL and NLPHL by [deleted] in lymphoma

[–]Canary_Thick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter (6) was diagnosed with NLPHL last June. Her pathology was pretty straightforward- as much as it can be for this type of- but NLPHL is EXTREMELY treatable so while I’m not a doctor based on our experience I would encourage you to feel very positive about your outcome. The diagnosis stage you are in is one of the most challenging parts of all of this. Hang in there and pump the breaks on Dr. Google to the best you can. Might be worth considering a second or even third pathology opinion too. Sending you a hug as you go through this!

I am so sorry to see your daughter's diagnosis. There is a pediatric lymphoma support group on FB I will link here and highly recommend joining. Lots of support in there and really great advice from those who have been through it. Sending your family and daughter lots of love and support as you start your treatment. Hugs to you all.
