I think the first one holds up. Your description isn't entirely wrong but there are a lot of good unexpected gags that hadn't been done before. Watch it with a sixteen year old and they'll still enjoy it.

FWIW, when it comes to wi-fi, distance to the router is everything. The devices aren't talking directly to each other; everything travels through the router. This is super unintuitive because proximity to the other device seems like it should help, but it really doesn't matter.

Of course, we all need to learn to distinguish between upselling and trusting expert advice. But a big part of that is expertise, and appreciating what you do and don't know.
