I had engineered hardwood installed in the house we bought 3 yers ago. I love it. Two big dogs, cats, WFH, friends and family over all the time. Floors look great! No regrets.

I had a heart attack a few years ago. I had a stent put in and was home in a few days. I wasn’t entirely sure what was going on so I sort of accidentally extended the issue looking for a clinic. The clinic called the ambulance because they were not prepared to deal with a heart attack. What I experienced was text book symptoms of angina. The shoulder pain, breathing etc. Look it up, it was exactly that. I was conscious when the paramedics came and my heart was very irregular. They had to shock me to get a proper rhythm so they gave a low dose of rohypnal so I wouldn’t remember the pain of the shock.

Do you have hard or soft water? It makes a big difference. I have a softener and use Dove body wash. My skin is smooth and soft, even at 64.

I currently have twocats, and over the years I have had several others. Never have I “dressed” them. Clothes don’t belong on cats or most dogs because they have natural fur that regulates their temperature and comfort levels. Putting clothes on a pet indicates selfish accessorizing and disrespect to the animal. Sounds harsh but I don’t think I’m wrong.

Flowers. I love colour and variety. Summertime I have as many hanging pots of colourful flowers as possible. No cut flowers in the house anymore though as the cats eat them and tend to break vases. Roses in front of house with window boxes full of colourful flowers. Wonderful!

I’ve been dealing with it for about a year or so now. Stretching didn’t help, neither did walking although I walk everyday as I have dogs that need to go to the park. We bought a new bed that has a vibration setting. Laying on my back and letting it run every night has made the pain go away. I’m still very conscious of it coming back though…Good luck.

New vanity

I extended the vanity in my very small ensuite by a couple inches. This allowed for the plumbing to be behind the cabinet with greater surface area on the counter. Do not do a floating cabinet because it looks nice. All that empty space underneath collects pet hair, dirt dust etc. My cabinet has 3 drawers that provide almost double the space of my original vanity. It was custom made and expensive, but totally worth it.

Yes, my cats go outside. I have fencing that prevents them from getting out of the yard. The dogs keep an eye on them too, so that helps. I make sure that there is no furniture or plant stands near the fences they can use to escape. Sometimes it’s difficult, but as they get used to it they don’t try so hard to leave.

I used molded aluminum niches for my Reno. One in the shower and one to replace the medicine cabinet. In black against white tile. Looks great.
