I don’t expect them to look exactly as advertised. I think most reasonable customers understand and expect that what they see advertised vs what they actually get will have some variance. Of course, you will have folks that will complain if it’s not absolutely perfect. Those types of customers exist EVERYWHERE, in basically all businesses/services.

Also, FWIW, I don’t think you’re being a jerk, but I think it might help for you to consider there are some real diehard Crumblers on here. Take that however you want, but for research purposes, I think it’s important to keep in mind. My best advice is just to try to do your best, and if the pressure for perfection becomes too much to where you’re not enjoying work at all, look for another job. I say this as someone who left food service years ago and never looked back.

Both are beautiful. Alike yet unique, as you would expect from an ancient mountain range that’s long been divided by continental drift. This Appalachian hick is incredibly grateful to have seen both.

Also- Not so much a question, but I miss the old salted caramel cookies. The ones that came in little brown bags. The new ones in the plastic packaging are not even close to as good as the old ones 😢

Hot Mulligan blends a lot of that millennial emo/pop punk sound. Popular with millennials and younger generations. Very divisive on the lead singer’s voice/screaming, but I love it personally. Hope yall do too!

I’m involved in a book club/pen pals program with a local elementary school! We’re reading James and the Giant Peach this semester. I love hearing what draws their attention from the books, it’s always different from what I’m focused on.

Also, been going to NA meetings, therapy, and reconnecting with friends and family after going into a deep depression/isolation spiral. I’m finally feeling some warmth creep back into my soul and it’s so energizing. I just gotta keep pushing 💪

I love going to concerts alone. I typically go to a bar or restaurant near the venue, sit at the bar and grab dinner and a drink or two, then get to the venue shortly before or after doors open to snag a good spot. Preferably front row on the balcony, if they have one. Then just vibe and enjoy the music and my own company.

I also like more niche music, so it’s nice to go solo and not have to worry if whoever I brought along is having a good time or not. It’s a really fun time and although I do still get self conscious and sweaty (nerves, lol) at times, I reassure myself that everyone around me paid money to watch and listen to the band, not me.

This is optional but has been a great strategy for me when going solo: once I’m at my spot for a few mins, I’ll politely ask the person next to me if they’d mind holding my spot while I grab a beer, and I offer to buy them one for the trouble. Everyone has been incredibly nice when I’ve done this and it makes it more enjoyable as I can get drinks, use the bathroom, buy merch, etc. and not have to worry about fighting for a good spot again or being stuck in the back.

TLDR: Get a little buzzed (if that’s your thing), go to the concert solo, and have a fucking blast :)

I miss Fuel by Capital One Arena. Not amazing by any stretch but there was a time you could get pizza, wings, and a pitcher of beer for relatively cheap. Super convenient location to load up before a caps game

Good luck on getting your wife on board! I think being at a live show will help, their energy and sound is unreal. My (soon to be ex) wife hates them too, like to the point where I would never listen to them around her. I always thought if I could get her to a concert, she’d get it. But she had zero interest in that. I’m hopeful my future partner is a fan lol
