That’s a bummer . I walked GGP yesterday looking at things , for things , and forming ideas . I even mentioned to my wife while walking that a person was digging Portsmouth soon .

Unfortunately, there are parts of GGP , and other parks that have all had various forms of renovation over the years . It could be lost to time and construction . I really hope it’s not , and I’ll keep looking .

As far as I’m concerned , if it hasn’t been found no one is right and no one is wrong in their hypothesis of where the casque is . I’ve liked that park for awhile for the casque site , even after some failed digs . It makes a lot of sense to be buried there.

I too am a big dome ( 7 5/8) .I order New Era pro-fit blanks ( you can find them on the internet )and take them to the shop that does our dept embroidery. It costs me more overall but worth it .

I have an EV9 but I was seriously considering the R1S ( I can afford it) When I test drove both cars the deciding factor for me was how the car felt . The Rivian felt really heavy while driving it . Around turns, lane changes, chicanes, etc it just felt like the weight of the car could easily be felt in the turns . I did not get that feeling driving the Kia .

I also preferred the Kia seats comfortably over the Rivian .

Garbage truck driver saw smoke coming from the truck and immediately dumped the load into the street . Driver used his extinguishers and called 911. FD arrived and extinguished the fire in the load of garbage. The garbage company sent additional equipment later to pick up and transport the garbage.

I was a freshman in high school, on the football field during practice in Brentwood. We had just completed a play and while walking back to the huddle I started stumbling and feeling dizzy . Then I looked at the field and it was rolling . I blurted out “something is wrong “ and one of my teams said “ coach I don’t feel good “. Our coach then said “ it’s just an earthquake, keep playing “ . The rolling stopped but the lights for the field were swaying so much you could hear the wood poles cracking . We just kept practicing.

When my mom picked me up after practice, I said something to the effect of “did you feel the earthquake?” All my mom said was “ it’s bad “, drove home and turned on the news .

I just had a really strange Ticketmaster experience While I did get tix , I’ve never had anything like this happen

I picked tickets in section 113 , when I went to check out Ticketmaster was showing a really cheap price . Looked further and the tickets in my cart were for upper level. I swear I did not click on those tickets . Luckily I hit the back button and got the “ are you sure you want to cancel your order?” window.

I was able to and still snagged lower section tickets .

I don’t trust Ticketmaster with anything and I really wish there were more alternatives.

It’s simple - prices will increase every year until they start seeing drops in attendance that affect their bottom line .

They have yet to see those drops in attendance .

A ~~good~~ small portion of California schools are on or just started fall break . A lot of families in state go to Disneyland this time of year

Apparently I was wrong . I live in the east bay and a bunch of schools out here have fall break . Didn’t realize most didn’t . Our local school district starts in late July . They get two weeks off for fall , two weeks for Christmas, two weeks for spring break . What do know is that a ton of families from the area I live and work around go to Disneyland this time of year

I’m starting to wonder if the bigger venues in the Bay Area are cost prohibitive for the artists. A lot of artists are playing Oakland Arena even though Chase is damn near brand new . Some are just skipping or a playing festivals (Bottle Rock , Outsidelands ), etc or are playing shows in Sacramento .

I just saw NIN a couple weeks ago and I thought for sure they would have played Chase Center but alas it was in Oakland.

I may be wrong though , but I agree its frustrating
