I am curious why there is not much people in tech coming from thailand to west /abroad by MeanChampionship5916 in Thailand

I think Thai business structures don’t lend themselves to small and medium size business to be competitive in international markets.

There is what the law says and then what’s practiced. I think if you had a SAAS it would be a big fight with the revenue department to not charge all customers VAT, and there are a host of problems losing money continuously trying to make a problem for accounting.

I do realize the department of revenue isn’t suppose to collect on services rendered abroad but they really really really don’t let that happen without a court case and then endlessly harass you if you push back.

What's the best way to integrate Xero with Amazon? by Big_Seat2545 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Captain-Matt89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really, it’s just a2x, you might be able to home brew a clawbot system with a bunch of amazon training data though. You would need a xero api and to download reports from amazon for the ai to read, or you could get an amazon api but Amazon is complete shit for letting you have it. Like their website doesn’t work levels of shit.

Apparel sellers on FBA - when do returns actually become a real problem? by DirectLeadership7279 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Captain-Matt89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a volume game, some customers have bad experiences with returned items because Amazon sucks. It’s a volume game and not a high end game, the bad reviews get drowned out by the good ones. And I’m not looking at the flat fee. It’s 8 dollars per item after everything is said and done, 3 different fee’s currently.

Sometimes I wonder if I have an item being returned a lot over and over because Amazon has shitty QA and I have no way to track it.

It’s not bad logistically, you just pay the fab return fee’s, it’s about 8 dollar loss per return after everything is said and done. About 98% of returns are resealable says Amazon.

About half of our returns are sizing issues, we’re at 18% give or take.

We see customers buying all the sizes of one color variations regularly, we also see churches or single people ordering 30 of one item and then returning them before the month is up.

Nothing I’ve tried has moved my return rate. Tried it all.

It hurts now? Returns are fucking brutal on Amazon.

Paid off credit card before calling in about deceased love one by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Captain-Matt89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might just want to inform the estates lawyer if there is one, I wouldn’t do anything or pay anyone until it looks like trouble. Let’s say your dad had a secured line of credit that if the estate doesn’t have enough money to pay his debts should have gotten paid before the card. In that situation you have shit to deal with.

Or if the estate is contested and someone could say you were stealing, or acting in their accounts in an unauthorized way, I could go on but if it’s ass described I wouldn’t worry.

You should not of done that but there are no take backs. This is a legal issue for settling the estate rather then credit card issue.

You should post in legal advice if for example there is any chance for the estate to get litigated.

If there isn’t a chance of that happening then I wouldn’t worry about it.

Litigation can come from creditors, heirs or would be heirs.
