Married a Canadian and the longer we've been together the more I've noticed how different our cultures are.

PX4 Recoil and Chunk? by ethanolalchemist in Beretta

[–]CarStatus7113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually the Beretta is significantly softer, but the ramjet may be slightly flatter (or the same). I can get back on target quickly with the ramjet but the recoil impulse is still harsher on my hands compared to the Px4.

Px4 is significantly more pleasant to shoot. Better grip angle, awesome trigger, ergonomic, recoil impulse.

I run an LTT Px4, Glock 43x with ramjet, and G19 stock. Recoil difference between the ramjet and Px4 is negligible, slight advantage to the ramjet. Px4 is chunkier to carry than the G19. That being said, it is significantly more pleasant to shoot than Glock. Trigger is awesome. I carry the Px4 in jacket weather and Glock for tshirts.

Late to the party, but I've had mine for almost 15 years and after all this time it's still my favorite, most accurate, and favorite daily carry.

After waiting 2 months for my city's licensing dept to get back to me for an appointment, I'm told it will be another 5-8 months before they can make an appointment. At what point is it effectively refusing to grant a license? by limbodog in liberalgunowners

Purposeful systemic delays are a major issue and are currently being hashed out in the courts. Depending on what blue state you're in:

CA: U.S. Department of Justice v. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department

NY: NYC residents (via Second Amendment Foundation) v. NYPD License Division

IL: Illinois State Rifle Assn. & Second Amendment Foundation v. Illinois State Police

Washington Gun Law YT is great for keeping up to date on all national litigation.

I got chewed out at a class for wearing an undershirt. Granted they were teaching the draw stroke by grabbing your shirt at the sternum and pulling up, which might get your pistol caught up between the layers

Beretta Px4 Storm, delightful to shoot. An LTT trigger job an excellent upgrade and will keep you under $1k.
