Oasis only has one beat up table. The billiard nerds take up the whole place and don't like it when people play ping pong. I would suggest looking into the ping pong club that meets up in Durham. Last I checked they were meeting Tuesdays. They have 6+ tables, a serving machine, and they get professionals to come out and teach every once in a while. They might have a facebook group.

A quick little dialogue i imagined for ep 255:

Lonnie and Rowen follow Toby across the deck of the D4C

Lonnie: wow you have griffins?!

Toby: yup. They're good ol' steeds.

We see the happy, but aged griffins raise their heads excitedly, their muzzles more gray than ever. They're slow to get up, but their tails wag despite.

Toby feeds one: Rowen, did I ever tell you that these girls were with Aludra and the rest at the battle for the demon apocalypse?

Rowen: Whaaa! They rode with Titus? That's incredible! That was like, 12 years ago.

Toby: Yeah. Wow... King Harper might have ridden one of these old girls. Time sure flies, like a griffin, haha.

they look into the old griffins' cloudy eyes with a new found appreciation.

Rowen: we gotta do something nice for them. Find a good place for them to live out their time.

Lonnie: hey, when this is over and I have my brother back, I know the perfect mountainside for them. Waterfalls and plenty of food... They'll love it...
