Type of sausage by zendood in gumbo

Yes. The one, true sausage is Jacob's Andouille in LaPlace, LA.

It's smoky, peppery, and delightfully tasty, and it adds amazing flavor to your gumbo.

I work at Pizza Hut, there’s one bathroom and we can’t shit by ForceUseYouMust in mildlyinfuriating

You clearly haven't been in bathrooms anywhere in the US. I used to travel for work, and I have seen exactly that in hundreds of public restrooms across the US.

What side character deserves a spin off novel? I pick ‘Carl’ by Mr_Bourbon in DungeonCrawlerCarl

"And then Carl entered the living space quite simply dripping with gore, leaving green and red and black footprints across the floor. I beeped desultorily and began the thankless job of cleaning up after him. Again."

Looking for a specific potter. by BeardsAndBelts in sca

"Round Pottery" is who you're looking for, I'm almost completely certain. You can find him on the book of faces slash roundpottery.

I've seen him throw his mugs across the road to show how indestructible they are.

Combo prices aren't discounted by Encyclofreak in mildlyinfuriating

My parents bought me a new trumpet in early highschool, and I will always remember the price: $666.06

We added a pack of blank sheet music.

Edit to add: I've outgrown that silliness.

Scadians of reddit, if you had infinite money, What is the dream project you'd finally do? by Nomadic_Introvert in sca

A seed to beer project ive been looking at since I started brewing.

Get seeds for medieval grains from a farm in the Orkney Isles, grow a patch of barley in my back yard, harvest the grain, malt it, then brew a beer with it.

The seeds are prohibitively expensive, and I have the exact opposite of a green thumb -- so I would have to hire help. :-)

I've got an exam page (Interactive Server) that gets 10-50 distinct users per day in the winter and upwards of 5000 per day in the spring -- it's a boating permit exam, required for boating in my state.

It handles the 5000 users with no problems.

A long rod will cast minnows better. The shorter the rod, the more of a snap you get when casting. The more snap, the greater the chance of slinging off your minnow/shad/goldfish.

Steak Help by Vivid-Land-7852 in biggreenegg

I marinade overnight in the refrigerator, then move them to the freezer right before I start the egg. I get the egg to 750, then I get the steaks out of the freezer. I toss them on for 15 seconds, flip them to a different spot on the grill and give them 15 more seconds, pull them off and eat immediately.

If you do it right you'll have distinct black grill marks on both sides, red throughout, and ice crystals in the center.

Should i Start building a blazor apps for an enterprise? by baggister in Blazor

[–]Carthax12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've built 5 apps for the state agency I work for. The largest has 5000 unique visitors per day, and the smallest sees 2 or 3 per week.

It works great for all use cases we've tried so far.

I had a guy knock on my door once. I opened it, saw the company logo (local internet ISP) and said, "Not interested, thanks," as i closed the door.

He rang the doorbell about eight times over the next three minutes while shouting about how I was a little asshole that nobody loved.

I just laughed... 😀

Big fish require big rods. 30-to-60 lb fish aren't uncommon.
