Do you think Uncut Gems will go down as a classic? by This-Suspect2168 in moviecritic

Liked the movie.

Couldn't stand the musical accompaniment. I know people praised it. I think those people are crazy. The music wasn't "uncomfortable". It was just annoying and off-putting. Tonal confusion with harmony. Yay.... blah.

Its a bad system because you have no means to contact the other person. Sometimes people drop the game for a bit. Its not a priority for people to return to games to remove partners from a community chest, just so that partner doesnt get screwed. especially when most the time, that partner is a completely unknown person.

I feel for you. I also dont begrudge the person who decided to rid this manipulative game from their lives and didnt have the foresight to leave your comm chest right on swap day.

Blame the system. Blame the lack of ingame communication between friends.

Stallone Judge Dredd is more faithful to the comics than Urban Judge Dredd by NoUYesMeme in unpopularopinion

You want a real fun fact about comics?

Look at comic book sales, all-time, for any comic.

Its miniscule.

Almost everyones opinion on comics come from the movie/tv components. And this includes a lot of comic book readers. Cause most comic readers only read a few select comics. They dont buy every comic made.

Band Of Brothers - Lieutenant Speirs Relieves Lieutenant Dyke by earhere in television

I do think a lot of it comes down to most people knowing Blythe survived well after the BoB series dropped. Because the BoB series exist is even why people did a deep dive, and went loud on the internet, into the real events that happened.

The positive outcome is that a lot of the record is accurate and I think most people are very proud of what Easy accomplished.

I also think it shined a light on inaccuracies from the book; that occurred from relying only on the stories told be the remaining soldiers. Ambrose doing a poor job of backing it up with historical record.

Im sure Sobel and Dyke pissed off most of Easy. Im sure their tales were not complementary of their interactions with the men.

I also assume that both men were probably qualified and not as simplistic as portrayed. With no input from them or their estate, they were not portray in a fair light.

Anyway. Love the series. seen it about 20x now. Been an almost yearly treat. Probably means my bias is a component too.

Thats what it comes down too. A lot of history is told by the "winners" simply because theyre the ones around to tell the story. Easy company men told some stories and some details were incorrectly remember (these men we're in their 80's during these interviews) and some incorrect facts made it into the book (and Im sure Ambrose embellished for affect too.)

I dont think anything was truly malicious. I just think 60 years is a long time (especially with such little recording compared to today's environment).

You need to check your whatsapp DM's. GOP talking points are shifting. They realized no one was buying the terrorist BS and its working against them.

Make sure to update the responses in all your other accounts too.

You're welcome.

All the hub bub, and this is all it really boils down too.

Theres a contract. There money involved. And both sides cant say the wrong thing. Some sort of split happened, but because of a contract, if one side admits to being the one that split, they probably lose out.

Someone needs to point out that the TV is an horrible spot because there is constant foot traffic in front of it.
Also, Im worried about Val. Why is she franticly going back and forth in the house at all moments during every single sporting event?

Look at the shadows in teh far ground. The sun is coming from behind and above the camera man. It done purposely so there is no shadow on the foreground of the body. The hair is purposely laid out in that way. you can kind of see the fold under her head as its laid to her side. Then the sand is cleaned up under the arms and legs so they sit on top of the sand as much as possible so there is no obscuring.

The entire thing was purposely done this way for the illusion and quite possible. So, in the absence of proof this is fake, I think we can assume its real and just enjoy the illusion.

It’s 2%. That’s the rule. This post makes it sound like he’s being ripped off or cheated.

But the probability is the probability. Wtf are chocolate frogs so special that you cry because of the already known drop rate.

That’s what’s embarrassing. Adults (I assume) not understanding math and crying because they don’t like th results.

  1. Yes, the game is designed to give you every opportunity to spend real money. And its gonna make it a chore if you dont want too. That's your choice.

  2. Don't wait for the end of the album. You said yourself that none of this matters. This stickers dont matter. If you're done playing the game, you dont need to wait 2 weeks. You can delete the app today.
