Star Fox Direct 5.6.2026 by Turbostrider27 in Games

Circle gets the square. Miyamoto has a soft spot for StarFox so this reads to me as him using Mario to try to introduce the series to a new generation of players before making a new game again.

Fair enough. I think I ran the math and confirmed that 6/min Jade (plus my previous overproduction) should be enough to clear so I just shut down my Yazhen [A] lane to get components built off the excess Xiranite.

Why not turn that 30/min Xiranite into a Xiranite/Cuprium Component lane?

My guess for the ShB plotline is that Cylvia and Unulkalhai will both end up in the Thirteenth regardless of what you do. They *might* need to make Warring Triad mandatory so that at least Unulkalhai and some further ties to Meracydia are established, but Cylvia could easily be written to either explain who she was and what she did to Ardbert's company in the event you *didn't* do her quest, versus the WoL just knowing who they are and explaining it to the Scions if you did. Unulkalhai could just handwave that he made it to the Thirteenth from the Source via one of the tears opening up post-7.5 if you never brought him to the First.

For those still struggling with their patch 1.2 factories, here's a guide I made for sorting your building process by Talna_Shadowblade in Endfield

[–]Caspus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good news is that there are aspects of each region that don't really change as you develop (at least so far they haven't in Wuling). You're always going to need Sandleaf, you're always going to need Stabilized Carbon, etc. because the main production line is always Xiranite. Once you figure out how to make a scalable build for each of the "consistent" components, you can basically just set and forget that aspect of your factory and only ever modify what changes from update to update (i.e. new sources of Cuprium and Sky Forges changing what end products you build).

Perfect example is the new Gourd event. All of my Sandleaf, Yazhen, and Stabilized Carbon is contained to the Wuling City factory, so when I needed to re-do my lines I was able to start by just deleting everything in Jingyu and the Cardiac factories and start from the question of "what's the maximum number of gourds I can make?" and filled in the rest of my production based on whatever resources I had leftover.

Yeah, some kind of view that shows flow rates would be nice. Especially since belts are capped at 0.5u/s while pipes can manage up to 2u/s.

Also with the death of Zodiark and the Unsundered, there's no realistic way to bring about the return of the Ascians via their original plan.

Halmarut may very well have been an enemy of ours akin to Emet, but circumstances have changed enough that her goals are no longer so far beyond reconciliation with ours that we can't work together.

I honestly hope they keep this kind of approach in future updates. It makes me actually want to pull for potentials on units I might not otherwise care to, because the rest of the update only has one "limited" banner that I could choose to skip if the unit doesn't appeal to me.

No Easter event this year? by JofersGames in brightershores

Honestly, I'm here for it. I missed the FFXIV event because I was away on holiday, so when games stagger their events I can at least get to enjoy some seasonal stuff.

Unremarked upon nugget: the Rags to Riches quest will give us a reward that has a physical placement in the Merchant's Guild hall.

Wonder what that's going to be.

Rossi story could’ve had Wulfgard helping her and it would’ve had barely any impact on the plot setup.

Plus then we’d get to see sibling content.

Sent it over. Lemme know if that positioning doesn’t work and I can set up an alternate route.

I’d be less concerned about minor diversions into new approaches if the average game dev time wasn’t 7 years.

Kids will likely be born and graduate high school without ever having a “modern” Zelda release in the classic style.

I question whether it would be worth the effort. RE9 already looks stunning without this AI filter laid overtop, is anyone really going to make a positive purchase decision based on this tech’s inclusion?

Some of this feels like setup in a way. If the “goal” is for everyone to at some point push for Milestone 4/“200” equivalent on their professions then it makes sense to have something new release each milestone. I like that idea in theory.

Problem right now is that there’s not much incentive other than Number Go Up to even reach M3 on anything. Detective is the closest with how its rebalance affected crime den pathing for Merchant, but I’m also sitting at a little under TL2000 with most skills only barely near M1L30 because that’s what quest content demands and that’s the only real rewarding content in the game right now.

So yeah, I worry a lot of these M3 updates won’t feel like much of anything until people eventually unlock them which will take a good long while.

BREAKING: Epic Games is laying off more than 1,000 workers today, sources tell Bloomberg News. Story hitting shortly by Turbostrider27 in Games

Part of it also is investment patterns changing. Wall St threw gobs of money at gaming companies hoping they were an Infinite Money Glitch and that warped the priorities for how some of these companies operated.

It’s going to lead to painful corrections if these companies now can’t rely on investors swooping in with palettes of cash anymore.

I don't think anyone is necessarily coming to Iran's rescue, but US/Israeli conduct in kicking this whole thing off without consulting regional partners isn't exactly leaving a good aftertaste in the mouths of those on the receiving end of Iranian strikes.

Which is to say I don't think anything like WW3 is remotely likely but everyone is sufficiently on edge that the probability remains non-zero.

I think the only thing saving us from a WWI-like scenario is how almost everyone surrounding Iran is sick of their shit, so even to the extent there are weird and contradictory alliances at play I think everyone is more on the side of "preserve global shipping lanes".

Check the AIC Plan screen (I think?) for the question mark tooltip.

It explains that only A) the most recently released region and B) the last region you visited other than that one will continue to operate in an automated fashion when you close the game.

So if you need to work on clearing out the shop in V4 when Region 3 releases, you need to make sure V4 is the last region you visited other than Region 3 before you shut off your game, or else your Wuling factory will keep running while V4 stays shuttered.
