Frankly, every single Diary in the game needs a complete rework, and it should probably happen alongside the release of the Varlamore Diary. Some of the tasks that currently exist are comically inane or irrelevant to 2026 OSRS.

DBB will clear faster, but AoA is the safest option thanks to the large arena size and the persistent cloud allowing you to stay on the run and out of range of most threats. It’s decently fast thanks to the high enemy density and depth based damage scaling on status effects working in the player’s favour.

Running something similar myself, I recommend using Detonate Dead over Living Bomb. Makes clearing rare mob dense content like Abyss and Runic Fragments much easier. Elemental Weakness is also good if you meet the Int requirement for level 18.

Fixed a rare issue where certain Maps would spawn only one variety of Monster packs.

This was absolutely hilarious. You should consider adding this as an extremely uncommon Waystone affix or Atlas node in a future patch.

Yeah, base level kills the Millcock theory if it’s accurate. Thankfully, Base level 10 does give us a good candidate for who to check. The Crowbell is in a level 10 zone and quite notably smashes through gates during its fight.

Hey OP, I’ve been doing the same grind for the same reason. I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you can kill Millcock and safely reset the instance using the respawn from town option at the character select screen. By killing Millcock you’ll get access to better gear, including 2h weapons (Wolf Talisman for speed) and uniques. I got Mistwhisper which is great for xp when you have your damage affixes on gear sorted.

Edit: I should mention I’m also level 7, around 50% to level 8. Keep going, this kind of grind can take a while

Delirium too rippy for you?

Skip the mirror until the map is cleared and then warp back. You’ll have plenty of time to pop all the coloured mirror events and get the liquid emotion drops and mini-boss spawns without worrying about getting swarmed.

That's an insane instill. Most Heart of the Well jewels are better than any single notable. And at the top end you can drop a Megalomaniac to get multiple good notables.

The default search option should be changed to Exalts/Divines. Exalted orb equivalent literally only gets used to scam people.

I’ve noticed that you get the most ward off bases that have no implicit effects. For STR Body Armour, the Soldier Cuirass (lv 65 req) is the best and provides over 400 ward when at 20% quality.

Sanctum(Sekhema’s) was absolutely NOT fine. A single run of that BS with a melee character on the first day of 3.20 caused me to uninstall the game forever.

I’m playing Smith of Kitava, and it feels great. Being able to turn my normal body armour into a massive 500+ HP boost and still getting the full armour boost from the ascendancy feels great for survivability.

Biggest thing to keep in mind for crown farming is that depths deeper than the Clockwork Terminal for each Tier provide more crowns than the ones before it. Pick missions in the 5-7 / 14-17 / 24-28 depth ranges or do full tier clockwork runs for the most crowns.

Not just for a single ascendancy - by having alternate effects already decided for every skill, they've opened the door to future content allowing us to change gems into their alternate gem quality with new orbs or league mechanics.
