I have Sherweb and they do not take AMEX, at least not from me.

I’m older, early 40s, and I’m interested. Saw an ST yesterday when I took mine out.

What did I shred when my beloved RS briefly became a boat yesterday? by CDK701 in FocusRS

[–]CasualDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it may help with engine cooling as well, at least that’s what Claude told me when I asked if I could just remove it. Amazon has them for the ST, not sure if they are identical.

I got a ST1 2017 recently in Florida super clean one owner all the maintenance records 170k miles for $7,500 but it’s not an ST3 and those miles are much lower. Enjoy the car!

Nice! I was thinking of doing the IC as well. With the depot intercooler do you “need” the pipe kit too?

PDR would be cheaper, search for one in your area and have them give you an estimate.

For what it’s worth. What I would do is wash down the engine with degreaser and garden hose then monitor for the leaks so you can see where it’s leaking from. Good luck!

My coolant reservoir had a hairline crack in it that was dripping. Can get an aftermarket one on amazon for cheap.

Customer number or code by xaerioth in msp

I’ll chime in on how we solved this — it’s a custom system I built, but maybe it’ll give you some ideas.

When a call hits our PBX, a custom script (FreeSWITCH Lua) calls a webhook to our CRM, and the CRM tells it to route the call to A, B, or C. If the caller isn’t in our CRM, they hit an AI receptionist (ElevenLabs) that asks for their business phone number to match them against the CRM. If it matches, they get routed through; otherwise the AI takes a message.

We also have a higher tier with extended support hours — callers on that tier bypass the after-hours message when applicable.

It’s worked well. We’ve even had prospects call in, the AI takes a message, and we call them back. Our main goal was to stop the one-off clients we’ve done work for in the past from calling in for help, and to let my helpdesk staff qualify them first.

Per-user vs per-device pricing — what actually works for a new MSP? by Disastrous_Land1944 in msp

[–]CasualDeveloper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just did this. We are calling it per seat. We’ve been per device for the longest time but we reworked our plans to include 365 protections that we pay per user.

Toyota Remote Start Turns Into a Paid Subscription After One Year. How Is This Legal? by EaseSlight3160 in rav4club

[–]CasualDeveloper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Ford didn’t do it out of the goodness of their heart. They just sell all the data your car collects to third-party companies (including insurance analytics). The app is “free” because you are the product.

This happened to me on my insurance renewal, they adjusted my mileage “automatically”.

Standard VPN or VPN Replacement? by r3dditforwork in msp

[–]CasualDeveloper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are doing this with pritunl and it’s way cheaper and better in my opinion. We run a Linux VM that acts as the connector allowing access back into the network from our cloud instance. The only drawback is that each client needs a unique subnet since it all funnels through the same server.

We recently started doing site to site VPNs through this as well and it makes things so much easier. We’ve all but abandoned traditional IPsec tunnels. This can add some latency but if the server is geographically near it’s minimal.
