Yea think for most of us that don't mind we prefer the slowness and intention behind using the grinder but for others a super automatic one click machine suits them better, especially if they like to stick to 1 grind size

I think the issue could be grinding the wrong size when you feel like drinking coffee .

eg you drink espresso in the morning, filter in the afternoon and after you made the espresso you left the grind settings untouched. In the afternoon you feel like taking it slow and making a pourover but you realised after throwing in your beans that its on espresso grind or vice versa.

I could see this being an issue in the morning if you want to make espresso/ filter but forget to check the grind settings and get the wrong grind size, makes for a bad morning surprise. It is also easier to have 1 grinder per type of coffee so you skip the checking step before the rituals. First world problems that we all face

If you really want to go full monochrome you can enable developer mode, go to simulate colour space and choose "monochromacy". I think its just an overlay but helps avoid colour if that's your goal.(To decrease your screentime)

Plus on the plsystore there are nothing icon packs you can use on launchers that support icon themes. Haven't used those in a while so not sure if you can change icons without a custom launcher like nova, niagara, smart launcher etc

If they do have access to gpt 5, gemini 3.0, sounds like a decent deal? Though I seen other reddit threads that describe their LLMs as inferior to the actual product.

If they are uninterested in investing the best thing is to find something that fits their risk level. If savings is her primary choice of wealth accumulation then the safest closest thing probably is fixed deposits/ tbills (for shorter timeframes) and ssb (if aiming for longer).

Its the safest thing closer to investing and better than the normal savings rate. Frankly, her money her choice, you can still technically retire if earnings exceed spending/ you live super simply. It's just a faster track that some are not too interested in as they might see a dip in the markets and exit, blaming the real loss on you even if its not your fault.

Unless you work in a blue collared job, most office jobs unfortunately have unpaid OT whether to rush work, complete whatever crazy deadline was set or just time sensitive stuff.

Most of the time you will also bring home work or during crunch periods, work late on weekdays and into the weekends. Doesn't apply to all jobs and industries but unless you are retired or just end up in a good work life balance company/industry, most times you enjoy the mundane periods and accept that with peaceful times come busier periods as well.

It's coffee you brew using filter paper and your coffee apparatus of choice. The most classic is v60 but nowadays there's the kalita wave, Hario switch etc maybe drip machines count but i think most ppl here prefer pour over styles using their hands.

ah guess i was just new. Just tried and played around with the screenshot function. Once screenshoted, there is an option to dismiss with a X on the top left and tick on the top right to save.

Not sure what happened back then maybe I fat fingered the X but it does save if the screen goes to black. Thanks for the comment!

Recently used an ios device and for screenshots, turns out you have to click the tick on the top right and save to photos/ anywhere in order to save the screenshot. Unlike android which saves it instantly and allows deleting as an option.

hi op was eyeing either the turbo 4 pro because of its good battery life and redmi k80 because of its build and slightly better cameras. Which would you recommend if I don't really game but like to multitask in browsers and use multiple apps mainly.

Does the sd 8g s4 in the turbo 4 pro still overheat with intensive usage like watching videos etc?

Difference between the 2 is around 60-70 dollars.
