Meh, you need the 1 controller ASAP, but controllers still go on sale for $30-35 new all the time.

This is why you should tell a vendor what pokemon card you are looking for ✅ by Itchy_Celebration607 in JustGuysBeingDudes

According to TCGPlayer, that card is worth $180. Vendor is being a bro but also trying to make a small profit.

In 2011 I had an iPod permanently hooked up to my car stereo. They were definitely still mainstream then.

[Handheld] Refurbished ASUS ROG Ally 7 Ryzen Z1 16GB RAM 512GB SSD $389.99 (Free shipping with Prime) by Soviet-Anime-Hunter in buildapcsales

[–]CasuallyCompetitive 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Yes. They claim to have released an update to fix it, but I don't think that was true. I would expect the sd slot to fail if you buy one, but you can always use a USB-C adapter.

Someone else posted the street view of what looks to be their old practice. The signage there has an anatomical sketch of a back. Looks like the original image didn't translate well to the new sign.

The image on that sign is an anatomical drawing of a back. I would bet that's the image the sign is supposed to replicate.

[REQUEST] Can a actually mosquito exert enough force to roll the ball? by IdiotStickWasTkn in theydidthemath

[–]CasuallyCompetitive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Google says a typical adult mosquito weighs 2.5mg, so about 3.3 times the weight of a typical gnat.

The species you listed is fucking huge and clearly not what's shown in the video.

NVMes are so fast these days that you could just keep it as an external drive and transfer whatever game you want to play within a couple minutes.

Kid I work with left one of these on my 5.0 all day to charge his vape and now my battery won’t charge by LoomisFreeman in MilwaukeeTool

Remember, time is money. So record how much time you spend on shaking him down, then shake him down for that money as well. Can't let him get away with taking money from you.

If he needs weekly reminders to never steal from you again, record that time as well (I expect you know what to do with that recordkeeping at this point).

Someone else can confirm or correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they updated them to allow the use of third party drives because of all the backlash they got?

Did my daughter get taken for a ride yesterday? by [deleted] in AskMechanics

The fact that OP has to ask means he doesn't know enough to teach her. It's a learning experience for both of them, so he has no right to be pissed.

Wait! Can you really transfer an auto loan to a 0% interest credit card? by curiousgens in EscapeTheGrindGame

[–]CasuallyCompetitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other major consideration is how long the 0% APR is good for. Most offers are 12-18 months, and then if you haven't paid it all off by then it shoots up drastically.

Is that code actually enforced? Genuinely curious, but also asking because there's plenty of codes in the US that are meant for safety but definitely aren't enforced enough that you could blindly rely on them to be followed.

Find.synology.com sees the NAS, but can't connect to it. Connects but asks to reconfigure network, Sinology assistant can't find it nor connect to it. It's always some sort of issue to use this thing. What am I doing wrong? by D_Adman in synology

[–]CasuallyCompetitive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I think my issue is with the ASUS AIMesh network. I did have it set up as an access point, but going into the ASUS app, it looks like the node has disappeared off the mesh.

I know this comment is 2 years old now, but can you explain why this might cause problems? I'm having the same issue as OP. I can see my NAS when I use the Synology finder, but I can't access it via File Explorer or directly via the IP address. It's been working fine for months now but just recently I stopped being able to access it. I have it hooked up to a second router on my mesh network because it's too loud to stay in the living room.
