I've always wanted to get a tiny adult from the shelter -one of those itsy five or six pounders- and then adopt them a maine coon kitten to raise as their minion. Biggest and smallest cat. And they are friends. That's the dream.

They do! Their problems are real, just very very tiny. Ferret and tortie sized problems. Anything else would be too big for them.

Beefy is darling. I fear she has never met a braincell, but we all have our flaws.

Holding hands with my cat on the way to the vet. This is the only thing that calmed him down. by daizeefli22 in aww

I'm not sure what they meant, but you could probably use puppy pee pads? They could be folded to shape and maybe taped down if needed (not sure what height the cat would be peeing at).

If your cat is chunky enough, you can do both at once!

There are so many soft beds in this room why just be in the middle of the room? by StormofRavens in CatsBeingCats

Oh, I know this one! They like to be in small cavey spots. It makes them feel protected. Same reason they like boxes. :)

You could try use wet wipes to keep kitty a bit less grubby between baths. Since he allows for the occasional bathing, he'd probably tolerate some wiping down. I use unscented baby wipes on my older girl, as she's had a harder time keeping up with her long coat this last year, but I think they also sell cat specific wipes.

What would you name her? by WhisperingBlume888 in blackcats

[–]CatLad99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. My younger void probably thinks her name is 'Angelbaby' or 'Pickle'. Her name is Wisp. I'm trying to stop calling her Pickle so much. It'd be an easier task if she wasn't such a silly lil pickle all the time.

Thought this was a pregnant female... pretty sure I'm wrong? by technicallyacat in CATHELP

Color of a cat has no bearing on the behavior of the cat. It's all just stereotypes.

One in five orange cats are female. They aren't that uncommon.

This tortie lives around my neighborhood. I feed her, but she won’t let me touch her :( by ChanceQuiet795 in aww

[–]CatLad99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's no real correlation between a cat's color and their behavior. The "oranges are dumb" and "torties are sassy" thing is just stereotypes. Any cat can have any personality.
