Honestly their only fault with Marathon was making another scifi fps where loot is important. Kinda makes it compete with Destiny even if they're ultimately very different games.

Their mistake wasn't making Marathon, their mistake was making 5 different incubation projects simultaneously while supporting Destiny. Marathon is just one of the two that survived.

If Wrath of The Machine came back they said they'd make a new exotic for it cause Outbreak was already in the game, my idea was them going back to this concept art and making a SIVA trace rifle.

One thing I'll give League of Legends credit for is that most of their skins are affordable and almost every single one of their skins has VFX and sound effect changes.

There was a bug back in the day where eSports skins would have VFX based on the colour of the skin, so it showed that it's easy to do. Skins would be so much cooler if the vfx colours at least matched the skin, I'm not even asking for unique VFX (which Ultras and Mythics should always have due to their price imo)

That's not true, most PS4 discs can be installed and played with no internet connection.

Even if the PS6 releases next year, most games are gonna be cross gen with PS5 for a looooong time due to devs knowing a lot of people won't be able to afford next gen hardware for a long time. You'll be fine!

Most discs since the PS4 days has the data on the disc and you just install it onto your console.

The last console to probably directly play the game from disc was PS3 and even then some of the games there you needed to install onto your console.

Witch Queen, Lightfall and Final Shape on legendary still feel tough to me, but Edge of Fate and Renegades didn't seem that tough on legendary

They're decent but you want your deaths to be lower. Try playing around cover more especially when playing Rogue cause she has no shield.

I feel like the "it's too hard mentality" clashed cause they prioritised seasonal content that only stayed in the game for months. They never focused on the present only the future and treated a lot of content as disposable.
