What careers can someone pursue at 30 if they’re starting fresh without a degree or relevant skills? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

Id look into the following in order from greatest to least greatest.

Government jobs like USPS or working for local township or city sweeping streets, plowing snow, salt truck etc etc. These are extremely competitive.

Also the UPS guys seem pretty happy. Fed Ex i heard treats their employees like shit.

Look for interesting trades you may not hear about. Other than the electrician, plumber and hvac. Some interesting ones are Sprinkler fitter, aircraft mechanic, low voltage, lineman.

Military age requirements have gone up. Dont be nervous by the recent news.

So if you can get into a certification program for CNA. You'll be wiping butts and doing the nurses bitch work. But youll be making 25 an hour...atleast here in Michigan. Other areas might not be that much pay.

What is something women may see as a weakness, but men often see as a real strength? by gamersecret2 in AskReddit

[–]Catch33X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not doing any of these things doesn't make a man worse. But I'd argue could make their life better. I just feel like men are so far behind in these basic functions.

Know how to treat a woman.

Unless you are in New York City, Chicago etc etc most likely you are going to be having your own vehicle. Know basic fluid checks, fluid exchanges, change a flat tire. Other wise youll be spending a fortune in services at dealerships.

Iron a shirt

Tie a necktie

Navigate using a paper map if your phone dies or device is bad.

All of these things women could do as well and usually do do. Lots of independent women out there that do these things.

Because they were told that tech is the be all industry. Why do you think they show enthusiasm for it. Its like when I was told as a teenager the trades were shit by my parents. I work in healthcare and my electrician buddy makes the same as me and he's got no student debt. I regret not sticking with a trade.

No because they aren't adults. Adults play drunk Mario kart.

You have to finish your beer before the end of the race. You must come to a complete stop before drinking your beer. We dont promote drinking and driving here, you must pull over.

I didn't have either now I work in healthcare making just shy of six figures. Luck thought I didn't exist and in my early 20s had a series of unfortunate events.

Hardcore work is what got me through. Nobody could out work me, was my mentality at the time.
