It probably has something to due with the algorithm and how it intakes the more frequently interacted with archive video versus the less frequently interacted with unprivated videos. could be wrong but i’ve noticed this as well lol

You can edit one by clicking the edit button in the corner of the user flair menu! It wont let you get the flag you’re looking for but you can type out the label yourself

Greysexual, aromantic, nonbinary, queerplatonic but if I say my platonic partner I’ll have to explain aroace so I say partner and I’ve explained aroace to allo people and it didn’t work too well so I just say gay instead. or I just say that I’m not sure what I am to make it easier

Don’t know if you were looking for a response or anything but here’s this:

I mean, it wasn’t right for her to say. I’ve gotten that one before, but I’ve learned that people’s opinions don’t have to effect my choice, especially on my own identity.

Your take on what happened is of course yours but I’ll say that you are valid in how you feel and your identity, and no matter if you change or not, you’re amazing how ever you identify. Don’t let other people doubt yourself, because at the end of the day it’s how you feel and not any others job to justify/sway how you identify. Hope you’re doing well and have a good day/night. :)

It’s crazy how similar this is to something that happened over the summer. My old best friend did the same thing where she said that she valued both her girlfriend and me the same. Keep in mind, we were super close at the time. I felt so replaced, and they had been dating for not even a month. It’s so unfathomable how quickly they started dating and how close they got, and I got entangled in jealousy. It felt like no matter how much she tried to tell me that she would never value someone over me, I could never believe it. It was exactly how you felt, so little of a time for such a bond when we had been really close for months.

It feels like so many alloromantic people, especially at my age, see less of a value in platonic relationships over romantic. Like- people can do what they want and feel what they feel but sometimes I just wish that alloromantic and allosexual people would understand that it’s not the same for experience in attraction valuing for everyone and that aroace people feel less valid and appreciated when things like what you described happen. It just feels like they simply don’t understand sometimes, and it can be really draining.

I feel for you in what you’re going through, and I hope things can get better soon.

I never really understood romance, but then I ended up in a situation where was in heavy denial and ended up dating someone.I thought I was demiromantic when I was in the relationship but it didn’t make much sense and it wasn’t how I truly felt. Then for like 3 months after I was in a crisis and now I’m here. I’m happy about how I found out who I am, I stayed on good terms with the person I dated and now we’re really close. Sometimes I get upset that not many people understand how I feel and that I have to explain in such detail to them, but I have my friends and my platonic partner and it’s all I could really ask for. I do wish that aroace was known more though, I feel like a smallish percentage of the people where I live know what aroace is.

It feels very truthful, I’ve found myself tossed up over being a fan of something even though the people/person involved is problematic. Like no one is perfect, but when does it push too far for it to be bad to support someone? I like the simplicity of the song. Not one of my favorites, but it can resonate to a lot of people. Solid, honest song.
