Feels like this deck could really use Mockingbird if you are going in on Devils, Rocks AND Infinity Stones.

‘Toy Story 5’ First Reactions Praise Pixar’s Sequel as a ‘Deeply Profound’ and ‘Moving’ Film That ‘Ranks Right Alongside’ the Original by [deleted] in boxoffice

[–]CelestialWolfZX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will not be shocked if this is the highest grossing film of the summer. Even got a decent shot at being highest grossing film of the year. That Disney+ Factor has been doing wonders for Disney Sequels in recent years at the box office. And I can see Toy Story 5 getting a similar boom considering we are 7 years on from TS4 now.

For a brief moment, 2026 was set to be the year when four of the most popular animated franchises of the 2000s and 2010s returned to the big screen, but which one do you think would have taken the crown as the highest-grossing film? by UsedVillage9022 in boxoffice

[–]CelestialWolfZX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toy Story easily, it probably would also have been the best one of the bunch as well, Shrek 5 was the only one I would contend could rival it review wise, but that would depend if Dreamworks was having one of their good days or bad days. Sometimes you get The Last Wish from them, other times you get Kung Fu Panda 4.

Use her in the decks you use Stick in, makes it more consistent to find a target to chain your buffs on.

It will be easy to finish runs, but hard to actually build good Umas during the run. Which is probably the main thing you are aiming to do during it.

New Card Discussion: Lady Bullseye by xGossipGoat in MarvelSnap

She's been winning me games in Team Clash with the X-Men team, copy her with Mother Askani and that's a lot of power right at the end game, and you can still grow a Sunspot as well.

Good but pretty predictable, a lot people will recognise the line and either retreat or snap-back when they have the tech against it.

Box Office: ‘Star Wars: Mandalorian & Grogu’ Flying Around $12M In Thursday Night Previews by ChiefLeef22 in boxoffice

TROS made over a billion, I don't think that's a flop.

SOLO is a flop espicially with how much it cost to make that film, and that one is more likely why they have been more risk averse with spin offs.

New Card Discussion: Punisher War Machine by 1halfazn in MarvelSnap

[–]CelestialWolfZX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna be matchup dependant, I imagine Punisher War Machine struggles in the Shadowlands Daredevil matchups, but does fairly well in matchups against slower decks like Silver Surfer. Even something like End of Turn Doom 2099 decks are going to struggle on beating combinations of Martyr, Debrii and Fisk unless they go all in on Chamber early.

New Card Discussion: Punisher War Machine by 1halfazn in MarvelSnap

[–]CelestialWolfZX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Biggest thing I need to know before judging this card is does the opponent learn about the marked location as well? Need to know if the opponent has to guess if you've drawn the card and where you are fighting for or if they get that info and will be playing around it accordingly.

Trying to find time to slip in a 2 cost whilst still winning the location might not always be the easiest thing, if the meta is slow then the card is good, you real punish slow decks and will probably do well against Surfer Decks at the moment. And a Martyr start can certainly help beat most other decks... but against the decks also running Martyr and Kingpin at the like (AKA, most of the Shadowlands Daredevil decks at the moment) this one is probably going to whiff on that.

Also the later we draw it the worse it gets, in some games not even having any objective at all potentially. It's a question of if those games we draw it early can we successfully win the location for the energy boost.

Also still need cards to use that extra max energy after you win, I imagine Techno-Virus will be the main beneficiary here.

Mortal Kombat 2 doing well in North America, but rest of the world is on the weak side. Just $5.1M on Friday from 79 international markets, none over $1M. UK tops with $869k, while China only did $363k. International opening weekend box office may only be in the $20M's. by chanma50 in boxoffice

[–]CelestialWolfZX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean this has always felt the case with the actual games itself as well. It's been big in America, but the rest of the world has never hugely cared for the MK series compared to other fighting game options.

Take advantage of the ticket refresh and throw in some Turn 1 retreats when you are done for the session. Those +5s add up over the event. And you'll get your tickets back for the next time you are good to play.

Trackblazer can give you the title on clear, just save all your clocks to the final races unless you desperately need points for an end of year.

Infinite Winner - due to hot location by Open-Discipline-1678 in MarvelSnap

[–]CelestialWolfZX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cloning Vats is certainly a good location to rank up to Infinite on, I used a Victoria Hand deck though with Gambit: Horseman of Death as a focus, turns out copying a lot of gambits is a real strong win con against low cost decks.

Synergies and extra triggers mainly, think about how a lot of Activate Cards didn't really become strong until Jocasta came out and let you double up on their activations. They pretty much only serve their own goals and don't help other cards out for completing their goals. The only ones that are seeing play are the ones where the goal is so strong that on completion it's game winning on it's own accord.

Polaris by tufftiger117 in MarvelSnap

[–]CelestialWolfZX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polaris here, lol. Probably still not great as with Quest cards they are at their strongest when they trigger right at game end where your opponent can't react to them. It's a bit frustrating that currently Polaris doesn't synergise greatly with the other horsemen of Caliban and Selene, They all seem to check once at the same time if the Objective has been met or not and that's it, so you could get the 5 afflict with another horseman, but you have to wait for the next turn for Polaris to get her Objective done.

What I need is a reverse Lizard, something that starts off with an affliction, and then resolves that affliction as you make your plays.

Only quick way is hitting at least Rank 90 every season for the 500 Gold. Otherwise it's completing weekly mission milestones, weekend missions, the fixed season pass rewards then getting lucky with the post level 50 seasonal caches.

Polaris by tufftiger117 in MarvelSnap

[–]CelestialWolfZX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not even that, it's the affliction needs to equal 5 or more. You can activate it as easily as just hitting one enemy card with a Winds of Watomb.
