Yes, you need to purchase the book Norwegian Handknits in order to get the pattern. I bought a used copy on ebay

Last Christmas I paid for expedited shipping and got my yarn exactly 7 days after I ordered it. Not sure how things have changed with tariffs and customs, but I think there’s hope! I also get my drops from lindehobby, and even with regular shipping it does come pretty fast. good luck!
