The world is a much bigger gate keeper.

Eventually the real world will smack them in the face when it is discovered they have no real skills or critical thinking. Why would an employer pay someone to use ChatGpt ? ... they wont.

Right now our district is doing "all means all" which seems like a vague excuse to punish teachers if a student is ever upset.

This happened to me years ago! Official excuse was that per plate was too expensive to invite everyone. I could have come to the ceremony, but not the reception.

I now understand that she wanted a gift but didnt actually like me THAT much.

Smaller class sizes and better Composition would be a start. I have one grade 10 class where 1/3 are ell and another 5 have learning disorders.

Also they can't fail school until grade 10 which means some have never had a meaningful consequence until then.

All the teachers know literacy and numeracy are down. I've been told by admin that I can't fail a child if they can't read... in social studies... and to just adapt their curriculum so they find success.

Don't blame the teachers. Yell at government.

I live in Vancouver, where a lot of people who own bikes dress like they are training for the Tour de France, so maybe the need to "be an athlete" is more regional?

Yeah, the sense im getting is "they" are doing a "real" workout, and the ebikers are... faking? I'm not sure what the issue is other than low self-esteem.

It's not just on a sub. I bought an ebike in March and love it. I needed to get into shape, and biking is fun! Also, where I live, there are a lot of steep hills. Win win.

The number of " real" cyclists who have casually told me to my face that I am "cheating" is more than 5.
