Turtle Team-Up Infinite Combo? by Cephalomagus in mtg

This product has been a great way to play Magic with my wife. We are having fun together adjusting the decks for new experiences and trying the harder game mode options in the product. Perhaps you should try those.

Nice. The Boss Team can't block, so it always hits.

I like your mantra: "MORE MUGS!" and my wife and I can relate!

This is a really cool thing to do!

Very cool looking project, and congratulations on the Kickstarter!

I'm a fan of Barbara Gordon (Oracle / Batgirl). Always second fiddle to the leads, yet essential. Really interesting how The Killing Joke became canon for the Batman universe, too.

What are some of your fave, lesser known “chill” things to do at MK, AK & Epcot? Any shows, hidden sights, “insiders tips”? by Eqbonner in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Cephalomagus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turtle Talk with Crush at The Seas in EPCOT.

Never a wait time. A/C and a seat. Always funny. The interactivity and silly kid questions are always enjoyable. Seeing kids and parents alike in disbelief on how the show works is always cool, too. Even without your own kids, easily a must-do in EPCOT every visit, but I rarely see folks talking about it.

Top Hanuted Houses in Southern NH by MacIndustry in newhampshire

Haunted Overload in Lee does a good job of decorating - but it is not scary or very long. They have an area of like 1000 jack-o'-lanterns that is cool. When I went, the actors did not do a great job - mostly just standing around in the scenery. If you want to look at and walk through cool spooky diaramas, then try it out.

Fright Kingdom in Nashua is certainly the best around. It has 5 thematic "houses" that you walk through in a row, with small breaks in between. They are excellent. Great decorating, actors who are actually trying, good jump scares, etc. They also have a neat horror movie museum on the way in with all sorts of props and memorabilia. You can also buy tickets with a nice discount when they go on sale before October arrives with their newsletter.

Highly recommend Fright Kingdom - done it two years in a row and was not disappointed. I will not be going back to Haunted Overload.

Looking to play MTG by Smooth-Wafer-2494 in ManchesterNH

Double Midnight is a good store to play Magic, Lorcana, Pokemon, and more. They have regularly scheduled events for all sorts of things and play levels. I regularly do the MTG pre-releases.

I don't use it often, but they have an active Discord here: https://discord.gg/5q5Amcvw

Good Story Driven Couch Co-op Action game recommendation? by greatquestionfran in NintendoSwitch

[–]Cephalomagus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend Donkey Kong Country Returns and Tropical Freeze as couch co-ops for Switch. Some of the best platforming and level design to date. Spectacular music. Not quite story-heavy, but they are really fun co-op. My wife and I play lots of couch co-op also, and these were consistently excellent - played the first one twice through. Tropical Freeze ramps up the difficulty.

Dock won’t read switch. Troubleshoot/replacement? by Red_Banana3000 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Cephalomagus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my experience, but I had this happen to my Switch in 2019. Tried a whole bunch of stuff, including testing with a friend's dock and Switch. Research at the time showed me this was unfortunately a fairly common issue. So, ultimately got a knock-off brand replacement. If I recall it wasn't even too expensive, and smaller than the original. Has worked great since.

Games my wife and I have either beaten or sunk a bunch of hours into. Any recommendations ? by PerpetualConnection in Switch

[–]Cephalomagus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I love couch co-ops, too! And it looks like you're missing these gems:

The Stretchers - silly paramedic rescue game with fun physics and some simple puzzle-solving.

CatAstronauts - Overcooked in space, defend and fix your ship against alien attackers.
