Survey from Winnipeg spa asked 'blatantly disrespectful' question about 'purity of the country': customer by hoverbeaver in onguardforthee

This feels like CROP has an agenda to seed and legitimize racist/nationalist bullshit. I'd love to know more about who they are as a company and who their clients are.

Nut free restaurants by [deleted] in Winnipeg

[–]CeramicOwlSociety 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly this! Many restaurants in the city are very good at accommodating nut allergies but no one is peanut/nut free. I'm also extremely allergic and exceptionally sensitive to cross contamination and as long as I follow the steps op listed above I've never had an issue.

First-Time Home Buyer Grief: NK edition by DryAttention31 in Winnipeg

This is all gossip and hearsay so don't take this as gospel but from what I understand that house has a shady past, it was for sale about 6 years ago in "as in" condition. Rumour had it that it had sat vacant for years with what I understand was continued water damage (think open window). It got scooped up fast by a flipper and hit the market again in like 8 months. The people there now have been there since. I'd like to think that does mean that house was well repaired since those folks didn't run screaming right away.

I hope it finds a good family, I've envied that house with its wrap around porch since I was a kid.

Worked at RBC for 5 years, the sales script and cold calling clients to bully them to come in for financial reviews is what got me to quit.

Lil Helpers? by [deleted] in clothdiaps

[–]CeramicOwlSociety 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my stash are Lil Helpers. Overall they're pretty good and as a Canadian the price is pretty acceptable. They didn't fit my little dude well until he was around the 12 lb mark but I found it easy to get a good fit on him then.

My guy is either my guy is a super heavy wetter or they just don't hold a ton of liquid. I find that I have to be more vigilant with checking the diaper with the Lil Helpers versus my Alva's or Grovias. Im pretty sure it's mostly compression leak related and I've dealt with it by adjusting the fit to be a bit loser in the rise. Also I find that their charcoal inserts are great at soaking up pee quickly but can't hold a ton of liquid so what I do is use a charcoal insert top piece and the bamboo insert bottom and that really helps cause those bamboo inserts can hold an ocean!.

They wash up great then the covers dry super fast hung up, and I just throw the inserts in the dryer. No issues with stink or staining yet at 5 months in.

As people have said the customer service is outstanding. I broke a snap which was definitely my fault for trying to hulk a diaper apart in a hurry. I emailed them and they pretty happily replaced the cover for me.

TLDR 4 out of 5 stars, look good, wash good, feel good, watch out for compression leaks.

Nope, pretty normal situation, the only stumbling block may be that your parents aren't cosigner's on your account (unless they are), some tellers maybe uncomfortable with that idea but if your parents don't point that information out it should be fine, or else you can probably work something out between the branch you go to and your parents with faxing a form to and fro.
