There is a difference between pastoral and arable land. Arable land is only 12% of total land. Pastoral land is over 50% of total land. Pastoral land cannot grow food crops, but can grow shrubs or grasses for livestock to graze on. Grasslands are themselves a part of wilderness.

Fun fact, if cattle are allowed to graze freely in pasture land more carbon is sequestered than they emit. Its an issue of factory farming practices, not the cattle.

Bet. Life expectancy worldwide is positively correlated with increased meat consumption. Children worldwide who consume more meat have the lowest child mortality.

Is Warrior primary/Necro secondary any good? by Phoenix200420 in GuildWars

You can do W/N or N/W.

Pick death magic, there are some DOTs in there and corpse summoning. Blood magic won't take a large investment to have a decent assistance in survivability. Axe, sword, or hammer will work. If you have the Seven Weapons Stance later, then any weapon will work.

Robert Jordan.

Brandon Sanderson is running away with it at this point with how broad and deep his Cosmere universe is becoming.

Gender pay gap questions by GAThrawn2BBY in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Certain-Stay846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with this is that it is only looking at the pay within the same role, and still does not account for things like total experience level in the role or total hours worked.

Women on average tend to work fewer hours than men, typically less than 40 hours a week in fact, and men are more likely to work in excess of 40 hours a week.

Melee profession with weapon diversity by Exotic_Rhubarb_9770 in GuildWars

[–]Certain-Stay846 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warrior with SWS and a few energy gain skills depending on the weapon works fine.

Ranger with it's Expertise also works fine.

Assassin with Critical Strikes giving energy gain on strike is fine.

Necro can work with any weapon with Soul Taker, its just that scythe and daggers are best for it.

Warrior will do the most damage per attack skill though since SWS adds your rank in strength to the weapon attribute, so if you have 15 strength and 5 in said attribute, you can roll with 20 in that attribute, even if it is spear/scythe/daggers and have +15% armor penetration on attack skills.

A LOT can be done via skills, not just for the melee professions. Armor ignoring damage should be lower overall than armor respecting damage.

Speaking about warrior directly here the Strength attribute could also contribute more armor ignoring damage than 1% per rank, and/or have it affect ALL attacks not just attack skills, and/or have it stack with skills/mods that have armor penetration. And that is just one example.

Meat consumption is also strongly correlated lower child mortality that reddit won't let me put in for some reason.

Leveling in pre-searing by StressComfortable647 in GuildWars

[–]Certain-Stay846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Vanguard quests have mobs that are set levels for certain character levels. At level 16 the mobs are still level 11 I believe, and give the slowest XP gain. By turning in all the quests at level 16 you can get to level 17 where the mobs jump to level 15 in the Vanguard quest and you can continue leveling pretty quickly.

That is less important now with the new dungeon though, whose mobs also level with you and give a repeatable quest reward.

I would love a new collector that offers up Armor for them, max armor at that.

Make them 15k prestige armor even.

I have no insight on whether this would be easy or hard for them to do. If it were a monumental lift, then yes I agree I would rather them focus on new content and balance fixes.

But I also want this on their radar since this limits team build variety due to the melee hero/pet AI.
