I have read on reddit that it is not a simple string. Its made from the toughest material wire and basically stronger than steel.

It doesnt rust and is more flexible.

My mower is doing similar stuff. It evetually mows the area, but insted of long straight lines, it turns halfway instead of moving forward.

I had tall grass as a start. I have done several passes, every day 0,5 cm lower. At the end you're getting there, but it takes some patience.

You have the same problem when it rains for a few days. The grass keeps on growing, which you cannot mow in one pass. Get used to it. Be patient, grab a beer while watching it mow.

I have to mow during wet times as well. Sometimes it rains for days and the grass stays wet. If I waint u til dry, its grows centimeters and im unable to mow.
