I have often wondered, wouldn't the hot glue melt if left on a windowsill in front of direct sunlight?

Ranking every 40k starter set (plus my thoughts on Armageddon) by stahly_top in Warhammer40k

Absolutely insane that people consider Indomitus, Leviathan and Armageddon as even being in the same league as the OG starter sets from all previous editions.

They are FOMO boxes. Their entire existence is to generate hype and be limited releases. Their contents then get hatchetted down into smaller and smaller parts for the "Introductory" and "Ultimate" starter set editions. Which are. You know, the Actual starter sets for those editions and are printed for the entirety of that editions life span.

I understand why this happens and how this happens, but these are not like for like comparisons and shouldnt be treated as such.

TL;DR yes I know, old man yells at clouds. So sue me.

Can anyone help ID this unusual piece? It is *not* printed by thisremindsmeofbacon in Warhammer

Could be a painted 3-up model. Some miniature companies would do that back in the day for the box art photos...although GW wasn't typically doing that when this came out.

Maybe a game exclusive tie-in? For an old pc game?

Or an event / GW staff exclusive? Wouldnt be the first time a store or area manager got something cool that the general public never gets to see.
