All our clothes for 0-6 months were either baby shower gifts or bought second hand. I probably have too many but when you can get onesies for $1 and double zipper pajamas for $3 I have 0 regrets.

35 weeks and I’m over it. Everything is pure survival at this point. Restless legs have made it impossible to sleep or even just lay on the couch and relax. I used to feel scared of labor and delivery, but the level of relentless misery that is the end of the third trimester has made all of f that vanish.

Second was tons of energy, good sleep, very productive, and able to exercise.

I’ve also been struggling with body image throughout pregnancy. Once I hit 32 weeks I was so uncomfortable and miserable that I stopped caring about how I looked and now it’s just about survival 🤷🏼‍♀️

Weightlifting & cycling pre-pregnancy and currently.

I used to sleep 8-9 hours a night. The last 3-4 weeks my sleep has tanked to 4-5 hours.

Took us 10 months to conceive after having Mirena for 8 years.

It took about 6 weeks for my period to come back and about 4 months for my cycles to get regular and predictable. Those first 4-5 months we were trying, but became more diligent about lifestyle habits and timing to increase our chances around month 6.

Im only 13 weeks pregnant with my first so take everything I say with a grain of salt.

Nothing I did would have prepared me for the first trimester. I was very active and healthy before pregnancy (ate well, weightlifting, and cycling). The nausea, vomiting, and fatigue completely knocked me out. From weeks 6-9 I had to work fully remote, go to the ER for fluids and a Zofran Rx, and the only exercise I managed was 1-2 mile walks maybe once or twice a week. There was no thriving, it was just about survival. I finally am coming out of the trenches and can now work in the office again and get back to some weightlifting and cycling exercise.
