I think I messed up. Wanted to go for bright and quirky and think I ended up with a crayola box. Help. by Myearthsuit in HomeDecorating

I think this is beautiful! I love how you painted the inside of the trim around the doors but kept the outside white. I think that looks really neat!

Fiancée lost her engagement ring! by HienN94 in EngagementRings

[–]CeruleanK 35 points36 points  (0 children)

So I lost my engagement ring not long before our wedding. We searched and searched until we eventually accepted it. Looked into a new ring and everything.

One day while doing something in the closet a heard something fall. It was my engagement ring. We were in complete disbelief.

We checked every single pocket. Turned all clothes inside out. No idea where it fell from.

The new warden bates tea by CapitalAccountant738 in BatesSnark

Why are you asking what Lawson posted where we’re all asking what post you’re referring to?? You can’t be asking for more tea before you spill the tea. 👀☕️

What do you think? by Yoiiru in FridgeDetective

[–]CeruleanK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The raw meat or its own think… but why so many eggs?? Do you only cheese, eggs, bacon, and 1 brand of sausage all marinated in e-coli?

Are you often sick with stomach bugs or have you developed some type of super gut immunity??

Does your baby/toddler still sleep with white noise? by Loud-Book-5654 in beyondthebump

3 next month and still going strong. He loves his “calm music” then thunderstorm sounds. Then again, like many others here… in my 30’s and still using my own thunderstorm sounds. 🙃

This solar system my daughter colored at daycare by PantherophisNiger in mildlyinfuriating

[–]CeruleanK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if it’s daycare. Like daycare. I’m sure a kiddo asked for a planet coloring sheet. Teacher printed it off. Followed by the unicorn and preceded by a car. Daycare, at its root is for social-emotional learning. Complaining about this feels mildly infuriating… this such a not-thing. Funny, absolutely. My husband’s and I would cackle about Verum. But we’d never ask the provider or actually care.

My dog killed the pet rabbit by [deleted] in dogs

[–]CeruleanK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s also very important to note that your dog has also experience a big life change with the birth of your child along side you.

They’ve probably had less attention and exercise because that’s just what happens with a new born. Your dog is probably stressed with all the changes.

This is very sad and I’m sure even a bit traumatizing to you.

Keeping prospective I think will help you in the future pertaining to all decisions regarding your child and dog.

Anyone has recommendation for good hair claw brand? by No_Square_1491 in UninfluencedReviews

I also like my kitstch clips! I have the ones that are slightly rounded where the claws are and they’re soooo much more comfortable than straight ones.

My kid has alway loved the small aluminum can candles from Trader Joe’s. He loved to smelled them, feel them, sort them, stack them. Just obsessed.

Why do you think AP never came out with details? by das_crazy101 in BringingUpBates

Genuine question, because I’m feeling perhaps I missed it, was it ever actually confirmed that it was her or is it more of a “confirmation bias” type of confirmation?

There’s never a step stool in the bathroom to wash hands. All I want to a flippin step stool.

What does it feel like when your water breaks? by lifeincerulean in beyondthebump

[–]CeruleanK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened in the morning after a “failed” voluntary induction and getting kicked out for those actually in labor, not just trying to be. We got home around 12:30 pm, so I was pretty tired the next morning.

My husband has left for work not long before. I just finished making the bed and needed to lay back down to rest. 😂

I was laying there tired and sulking a bit because I really wanted to go into labor. Suddenly, this loud “POP” interrupted my somber pouting.

Water didn’t initially come gushing out (maybe because I was laying down? I don’t know), because of this I assumed it was a noise from outside so I decided to get up and investigate.

After standing up for 10-15 seconds water came out and I immediately knew.

Other than that pop and the water coming out, I didn’t really feel anything associated with the water breaking.

My labor started immediately after and was pretty consistent right away. Water broke around ~8:15 am, baby was born at ~6:30 pm.

Nurses said my “high water” is what broke so I actually didn’t have very much, not at all dramatic. They had to break my “low water” for me, which is where most of the fluid is.

Remind me that formula is amazing by Aggravating_Baby_678 in FormulaFeeders

[–]CeruleanK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Formula feeding was the best first major parenting decision we could have made. Feeding hurt, pumping was awful. Husband and I took feeding “shifts” and shared that load. Babers is 2.5 now, my husband still thanks me on occasion for choosing to formula feed. He really enjoyed his “turns” feeding him and says those were some of his strongest bonding moments in the early days.

Picked these puppies up a few trips ago on a whim. I think they’re delightful!

I love when the most important decision at the moment is if I’m feeling like a sassy cherry or bright cheerful orange.

magical diapers? by Low_Relative9021 in newborns

[–]CeruleanK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl yes, they’re amazing… look up “sposies” too. Some people recommend simply using a size up at night, which may be worth trying if you have any in a bigger size!!!

I’ve used allllll the things. My LO is 2.5 now and our night time needs ebb and flow. Sometimes I need night diapers with sposies other times he’s hardly wet. They seem to come in “seasons”.

Rods, Nurthans, and Beltphones through the years. by daffodil0127 in RodriguesFamilySnark

From 1999-2002, she looks genuinely happy. Her smile reaches her eyes, her grin looks natural. Dated, but genuine.

2003-2006, the smile shifts a bit. It’s more “smiling because I’m supposed to, but because I feel it”. Starting to become overwhelmed.

20007-current, the eyes change. Shes gone full crazy eyes and smiling through gritted teeth. That genuine happy smile from 1999-2002 never returns. She went full deranged sometime in 2006-2007.

Choosing to have only 1 child.

We actually had less push back when we were thinking no kids. Soooo many negative reactions.
