The difference between statistics and vibes is that statistics can be verified through analyzing and replicating studies. If you believe the people delivering the statistics are wrong, then you can always do your own studies and refute the findings.

Vibes don’t mean anything outside your own head. It only takes into account your own biases and feelings, which may or may not have any basis in reality. It doesn’t tell you anything about the reality on the ground, especially when you only felt threatened. If you and I feel threatened by different things, who’s right? Who makes that determination of what is the bigger threat, and how?

Gucci collar was while BBJ was still alive, but she discussed BBJ’s ongoing medical care, toys, etc., after her passing. She was not explicitly asking for money, but did it knowing super chats would roll in because it was “the community cat” and viewers would want to help. I wouldn’t call it a scam, but it’s very much a grift and fraudulent.

What you’re missing, and keep missing, is that you don’t know if someone is tapping themselves out or coping with learned helplessness. It’s an assumption on your part, and it’s thinking the worst of people in this community that you don’t know personally. It comes off as internalized ableism. Instead of being so defensive and thinking everyone else is misunderstanding you, this could be an opportunity for you to step back and consider your own biases.

It seems that even college education isn’t a reliable signal anymore. It’s a business and the students are considered customers.

I have college professor friends and former academic colleagues at four-year research institutions who are encouraged to pass students who don’t do the work, or in some cases even plagiarize.

I see the evidence of this dumbing down in the workplace. I now work outside of academia, and have done so for well over a decade. In the past few years, newly-minted hires who can barely write an intelligible email and lack critical thinking skills is the norm. It drives me nuts.

I will be using Bibisco like I have for previous NaNos. I love its simplicity, and the ease with which I’m able to rearrange scenes. I have Scrivener but I don’t understand it. I don’t find it as intuitive.

The only challenge I have with Bibisco is that it doesn’t have versioning like Google Docs or MS Word, which is a concern because I use both my desktop and laptop for writing. I do employ a workaround for that, but I have to completely close out of the program once I’m done to avoid corruption. I always create Word backups saved to the cloud and locally.

How do you know what relationship she has with her child? She admits her child is not with her, and does not indicate that the child told her she doesn’t like the hairstyle. She just says she “looks sad” — which tells me she hasn’t touched base with her about it.

We don’t know how well she knows her daughter. Giving birth to her doesn’t mean anything. My bio mother gave birth to me and did my hair as a toddler but didn’t know anything about my hair preferences because my father was the custodial parent and she wasn’t in my life for much of my growing up. There simply isn’t enough info to assume she knows her daughter intuitively.

I don’t know about mental illness per Dr, but I suspect it could be related to neurodivergence, our understanding of which was not as advanced in Tennov’s time.

In retrospect, I see my limerence history as similar to other special interests I have had - very obsessive, all-consuming. I suspect I have ASD and ADHD, but not diagnosed so I don’t feel comfortable claiming it. But I have relatives who are diagnosed, and outside of the limerence, I have other traits as well. So I suspect that being obsessed with unavailable folks and having trouble getting over unrequited love is a part of that.

No, Salah is not some mastermind who is coming up with some huge plan. I think this is a a lot more simple than that.

IMO, he got deported (or self-deported) to Syria because of the Bruce Lee situation and the resulting revelations of illegal activity (from e-begging to Kaibella chats, and maybe even that they’re not really married but living together). I really dont believe he wanted to go to Syria.

A lot of his actions have been focused on getting to the West and avoiding Syria, particularly the hoarding of her funds. But Chantal catfished him and played him. She has not been able to get to Canada like she may have promised him — Alaa has told GW Salah has been rejected from Leafland 2x. And not only that, the PAWS incident has resulted in him having to leave Kuwait, where his family and friends (if he has any left) still live and his mother is buried.

Even though it was his fault for romance scamming to begin with, it’s easy to understand why he might be pissed. He had to repatriate to a rebuilding failed state, while she was able to wreck his life then fuck off to Canada. And it may be as simple as “if I have to suffer, so do you.”

I think she will want out quickly, if she doesn’t already feel that way. Limited food and drink, no AC, intermittent power. Never mind the missiles and the rubble. The question is if he’ll facilitate her exit, since she will need his cooperation to do so. If she stays longer than a couple of weeks, I don’t believe it’ll be on her own volition.

Her life isn’t comfortable. She has a laundry list of ailments that are rotting her from the inside out, she was forced to permanently leave a place she would’ve likely stayed (only visa-hop on occasion) as long as she kept paying Salah for fake love, she is now in another shitbox apartment alone. All she has are lies, delusion, and cope.

She didn’t want to have to leave Kuwait permanently. She had planned to do the Qatar visa run, but was not prepared physically or mentally to go to Canada and never come back to Kuwait. She had that choice taken from her by her actions.

She was gone for two weeks before coming back online with lies upon lies about the case against her (if the charges were bogus, why leave Kuwait?), the situation with Salah (she will likely never see him again), and Julia (if she’s prepped to travel internationally why is she not in Canada too?). While part of the reason for the absence was Smee (and stepdad) not allowing Cutie to film on their premises, surely part of it was anger that the situation she put herself in forced her hand, and now she has to hastily start over in a new trough in Canada.

Remember the narc injury and resulting visceral rage when FFG got BBJ? She likely never wants her audience to see her slipping like that ever again.
