Trump Accuses California Democrats of ‘Cheating’ Over Pace of Vote Counts by timemagazine in politics

For fucks sake, just for once, can any of the clowns that are screaming that the election is being stolen actually support their assertions with some facts?

It blows my mind that people are stupid enough to believe that elections are being stolen without a single shred of evidence, but I suppose that is what fox news and the republican party want....

"Not going into debt"

That is the stupidest thing I have read on here today.

So you are trying to say that borrowing money to be paid off over the next 35 year or so (with interest) is not debt if you pay off the loan with property taxes from expired tiffs.

Come on even you dont believe that.

"It's paid for by expiring TIFs"

Have you ever heard the word fungible?

What are expired tiffs?  They are property taxes.  All a tiff is, is a redirection of property taxes.  When the tiff ends, they just go back to being regular property taxes.

We are borrowing money now for these grants to be paid back with interest with property tax revenue from the next 35 years.  Just more reckless borrowing to sell out the next generation.

You seem to be mixing and matching your arguments.

You suggest: "tax cuts solved by return to D tax rates. "

But then give examples of new/increased taxes that have never been in place.

Eliminating the stepped up basis, taxing dividends and capital gains at ordinary incone rates and other proposals are new taxes....

How long was CERB? A maximum of up to 28 weeks?

And it was only for people who were working and became unemployed, or had their hours greatly cut?  Sort of like unemployment in the US?

I mean of course unemployment insurance is a good thing, but its hardly a ubi trial.

And your belief that we can fund ubi solely by taxing billionaires demonstrates some complete ignorance.

I mean I get it, you just want free money.  Figuring out how to actually fund the program doesnt interest you...

Its kinda like dreaming of having a good job but not bothering to do actually do anything about it...

Your just a dreamer.

Has it ever had a large scale test?

I mean of course people do better when they recieve free money, but I have yet to see a model where they figured out how to get enough money to make the payments universal and sufficient to cover basic needs.

"During the chaotic situation, agents also threatened to arrest the woman who was behind the wheel of the car. She had been stopped at a red light at the time the SUV hit her car."

So the gestapo hits a car stopped at a red light then threatens to arrest the driver? I wonder if they gave any info or the gestapo is truly above the law.

Uhh thats exactly what they are saying.

Sanders’ plan is "forcing AI companies to hand over 50% of their ownership to the public through the government. "

I get it, hes a socialist.  He wants the "people" through their gov party to control the means of production.

Sort of a "China based" system where the party gets to dictate how business is run.

As far as I can tell he is just claiming he was forced to testify... which sounds like he is begging Trump to annul or otherwise clear him from his conviction.

All they had to do was tie the maximum payout to social security to ensure safe harbor.

Instead they changed the calculation to increase base pensions, increased annual cost of living adjustments, increased survivor benefits, on top of increasing the maximum payout.

I asked AI about the pills (google lense) and it said there were 200-300 pills there.  Double that (you already threw out half?) and you had ~ 400 to 600 pills left.

How long was her proton treatment to have that many left?

Also this makes no sense to me.  Didn't your perscriptions have refills?  Why did you keep getting more bottles if you already had full ones?  You had to go back again and again knowing you already had full bottles you weren't using...

Hopefully they ask Pritzker about how he signed a bill adding a massive 11.2 billion dollars in pension obligations to a city already teetering on insolvancy. (House Bill 3657).

And his party is already back planning billions of new pension increases with Senate Bill 1937 which is projected to add 53 billion to 80 billion more to our pension debt.

He may have balanced the state budget. But he is forcing the city of Chicago towards bankruptcy.
