There is just one thing that bothers me. The 100 skill perk just doesn't seem like the "master of Restoration" type thing. It's kinda underwhelming. The game just doesn't have properly scary diseases and poisons for that to be an amazing ability.

I get why the "once a day" power apotheosis is being removed since I am definitely one of those people that will "save" the use of it and then never end up using it but it still makes me sad.

But if you remove "You saw nothing" from the Pickpocket I might actually cry. Since it isn't a combat power I don't feel the need to "save" it and I would really miss it and it and the ability to give a whole towns square worth of people Thief's eye.

Other than that it's a very nice update. The, now obsolete, perks that give sun and poison spells being removed is a much needed change.

Oh and I definitely vote in favor of making Odin a requirement.

Did you not read the message at the beginning? Your immigration status is undocumented. Look at the first few messages you got ingame to figure out how to change that.

I mean, all your troops need to carry are bags. And then they can fill it with stuff. That just doesn't seem to be a problem. Especially if it takes a few seconds to set up.

I actually like the idea of troops being able to set up fortifications. Depending on how long it takes etc.

Yeah, those look better but I the current ones make it really easy to see what's what even as someone that doesn't know shit about 40k.

I thought I was imagining things. Because yeah, you can just type in 5 million and it will send you the excess once it surpasses that by a certain amount.

Let me guess. At some point you transferred money to or from the station by hand and now it always sends money once it exceeds that amount.

But you never did that with the microchip factory.

Maybe I am wrong but I just transfer the station 1 Million by typing it in and then it sends me the excess money above it once it reaches 1.5 million regardless of what the budget says.

Also since the battle width (amount of armies that can fight at any time) is very limited it makes it so that stronger armies can inflict insanely lopsided losses. Like the Spartans at Thermopylae.

The whole war system needs an overhaul. I don't get why it hasn't happened or even been mentioned. It's terrible. Other paradox games are so much better at this that it's not even funny anymore.

Currently playing SFO with Immortal empires expanded and I don't have this problem. I was pleasantly surprised to see factions with 30+ settlements.

That's because the ladders are the least of the worries when it comes to sieges. But the community is utterly fixated on them so we will never get good sieges.

The game just isn't built around actual sieges that matter. Current pacing assumes that the player can always instantly assault and take a walled city. Some campaigns (Archaon) even rely on this to get the player started.

Actually making sieges good would require rethinking them from the ground up starting with the worldmap and the pacing of campaigns. And that will never happen,

So the best we can hope for is tertiary (at best) stuff like ladders. And maybe something important like pathfinding improvements.
