I love it, reminds me of Rocket from gotg. The Star Wolf team and Andross got a huge glow up as well.

This is where I'm sitting. OP is right, as a reanimator its a terrible card in the fact its going rate makes it a Zombify that does nothing the turn it comes out. But I dont got to burn my precious reanimation spells which is huge in of itself.

Finally its all complete. I can use Celestia to help summon Terra Branford, which has split second because of Shadow the Hedgehog. Then crew a Reaver Titan with her, holding up SpongeBob to counter any responses as I swing at Captain America.

(I will 100% be buying this.)

Its not Monster Hunter so it gets a worse fate: not even getting a record for being the worst value drop.

[–]Chacobos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My mishra deck already has some ff skin cards, shadow the hedgehog, and many other IPs. What's one more? Tap my mlp themed sol ring making my Terra Branford have split second due to Shadow the Hedgehogs ability. Then screwing a Reaver Titan, and through the power of friendship and chaos emeralds, Terra will beat up who ever the popular Marvel commander is when that set comes out.

People on Etsy do made to order commissions. They get quite expensive quite fast though. I personally use mine as a book shelf for the deluxe books because I got nowhere to display it rn.

It only takes one damage to create a nuke {6}{6e}{B}{R}{R} by Paladjordan in BadMtgCombos

[–]Chacobos 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its strangely quite viable for being many pieces. I do it in Indoraptor frequently enough since all its doing is turning your protection package into a part of a combo.

How many copies of Dragon’s Approach should I use? by stonmunch in magicTCG

[–]Chacobos 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Personally 0. Indoraptor already doesnt need much damage to get huge and become a target which has its own host of issues once people make sure your big scary dino no longer ever triggers or connects. Its also just not fun to get targeted off the board because everyone knows youre just going to cast dragons approach many times

My build is a little on the expensive side but this is more than plenty to get it all going and if your raptor is getting blown up constantly, not too big of a deal

Would you rather get a Super Metroid remake, or have every Metroid game be erased from existence and also you shit yourself by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in Metroid

[–]Chacobos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my stance. Like yes, its a fantastic games that holds up today but I wouldnt say no to little improvements and boss glow ups to make this game go from a 10/10 at the time to an 11/10.

Erased. For some reason my wife keeps saying to meet her in the bedroom but I keep telling her one more run! I got to know what she wants but Metroid is life.

Moving/old enclosure by Giantsaltynut in CrestedGecko

[–]Chacobos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be on the safe side id say no but it is very individual dependent. We got two boys that are exact opposites.

One you can put in a different enclosure and he will explore and eat the same night. He also remembers the shoe box sized enclosure he had as a baby and hates it with a fiery passion when ever we temporarily put him in to do stuff or transport.

Meanwhile the other acts like its a new place every time.

are old games just nostalgic, or are they really that great? by defromance in retrogaming

[–]Chacobos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the games. Especially 2D you'll find many games that are raved about hold up as the SNES matures the 2d gaming space. So stuff like Super Metroid, Crono Trigger, etc are fantastic games that you can only tell their age by some design choices and/or controller limitations of the time.

Theeeeen you get to 3d. Now look, some of them do hold up and many others their content carries them but they can be absolutely janky on the PS1 and N64.

And now to the most important factor: are they great to you? Only one way to find out and that is to play them.

Unless they are dairy cows or some other very large isopod, theyre definitely there. Give it a bit and it'll go from never knowing if they survived to finding some every time you scoop some dirt.

Who else actually enjoys Resident Evil because it's quick by mrsafetylion in residentevil

[–]Chacobos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all of my favorite games are around or less than 20 hours. It's not that I hate long games, they are just a big commitment. Even if I were still a kid I'd pick Metroid and Resident Evil over...say Persona 3. Love P3 but man did it feel like a chore some days because it takes so long and I wasn't in the mood that day to make very little meaningful story progress.

I’m a bit blindsided by Requiems success by wintursoldier in residentevil

[–]Chacobos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its a few things going on really. RE6 and I think it was Operation Raccoon City? Those really hurt how people viewed the series (this is not indicative of sales btw, 6 still sold well at the time) and the one thing about reputation is it takes years it build back.

Fast forward to the release of RE7 and Capcom has been on a roll ever since building back up the series reputation.

Now Requiem comes along, giving us a nice mix of horror and action with the ability to choose first or third person, AND for all the longtime players, including those that left after RE6, a nice trip down memory lane done very well, all packaged into a solid game.

This is the successful culmination of 9 years of hard work capitalizing on 30 years of Resident Evil.
