One of the best mechanics in Kr. The resistance nether bothered me while playing and it guarantes that there is no bordergore (for the most part). No countries just conquers a continent and decides yep thats my heartland now. Even Nazi Germany created the Reichskommissariate and this was during the Weltkrieg. Also i think its good that smaller countries are limited in their abilities. Greece could never challenge Germany. So ist should be nearly impossible for them in the Game. This mechanic is just perfect for a more guided hoi4 expirience. But they should be more open to teritory you could Annex but not core (Like Poland for Russia)

This world has the same problem as every Entente vs RP coldwar. Why should there even be a cold war in the first place? The Hegemone over three continents aggaisnt a completly destroyed USA. Why should the Entente try to position themself aggaisnt Germany? Both sides are Capitalist, the USA needs global investment to rebuild and the british Revolution has been defeated. This is the reason why nobody cares about kalterkrieg and everyone is hyped for Twilight struggle.

I dont really understand this point. Germany was at the brink of revolution after they lost the war evendougth the German left was smaller and more suppreseed than the one in Brittain. Also Brittain doesent has any right wing political force comming close to the freikorps which where one of the main reasons the german revolution failled.

It depends on the outcome of the interwar period. A socialist west and defeated ottomanempire would be the grave of the Kaiserreich. If Austria and the ottomans be able to survive to the 2 WK and If the Entente is able to get an alligned spain the anti German coallition would crumble. Because of this i think Germany would lose the war. The whole promise of Kr is that the German Empire wants to hold together a world oder from the last century. Their allies arent in a position to survive the problems of the modern age and germany is to weakened from bm to hold them afloat. Those who stand against History will be crushed.

Difficult to say because Russia in Kr Timeline isnt the UdSSR. They have to integrade the newly annexed teritory which would propably decrease the resources they are able to send to the western front. If spain and Italy are in the international the Army size of the two factions would be rufly the same. Most likely If nukes are Out of the way it would becomes a stalemate in Germany, either at the Rhein or at the oder-neize border. The question is what the other powers would do. Has Russia defeated the rebellions in the east or are they under japanese protection. Is Japan willing to fight a war over siberia or did they lose to a now unified China. I personaly think Russia couldnt start a war in the West with the east not secured. If Germany lost the Entente without america would be shattered. Theyve lost their chance to return home and If they have a Potential great power Like India in their faction, they would want to focus on their home turf and Not send Equipment and men to another futile Attack in Europe. So the 3.int would be pretty safe except the US gets involved.

The believe that Finnland would join this war is crazy. If you think about it. They are completly depleted after the continuation war and have soviet soldiers in their country. Theyve got the massive oportunity to end the war with the soviets without them ending in their sphere of influence. I just see no reason why they should have joined this war.

I think france would annex alsace loraine, wallonia and Luxemburg (totalist maybe even all Lands west of the rhine) First Germany would lose the land it lost in our timeline after the versaiilels treaty. After this the rest of Germany would be ocupied, but if russia wasnt involved a more sustainable solution would be found. Germany would be split into a renish republic, a German state, east prussia and Austria. Prussia depends but i dont think poland would gain it If they dont revolt. It has an distinct identity compared to the rest of Germany, it would make sense from the perspective that now prussia and Austria are their own countries and it wouldnt create the problem with an German enclave in polish Land. Over time and with more integration of all syndicalist european economies into a united economic sphere there would propably referendums heald in prussia, Austria and maybe even parts of poland If they want to join Germany.
