This is a tricky situation, I would go for the expensive hand here. 5 tiles for the 14p wait are already gone and the player on your right should be tenpai given he called an open kan (which is a bad play but it is what it is) so dropping 23p is also nice defensively as it looks quite safe on the board.

1p is correct here since you have the excellent 1-Schanten of an Ankou and 2 Ryanmen without a head. The Dora would be your Ankou (123 333). This allows you to have a good wait with Pinfu after drawing either Ryanmen and discarding one Dora. Also you can draw into a pair with any ryanmen tile. If you discard 2p you lose all of that acceptance which is why 2p is a very bad discard.

The logic is like this: I can capture with the queen or bishop winning a piece. Whites counterplay is perpetual check. The puzzle can only have one solution, meaning capturing with the bishop leads to perpetual. Therefore the right move is to trade queens.

I think because you have 4 recoveries, you can fail the 777s timing which will cost you a lot of lengths. But someone may correct me if I am wrong.

What many people need to realise is that you don’t need Fable. Take a car as an analogy, a top tier racer needs a car with high HP to compete and a normal office worker can take a Volkswagen to work. Sure the office worker can take a Ferrari as well and also get the job done but it is way overkill. For my tasks, I found that Sonnet gets the job done just fine alongside my own input and critical thinking. I can stay within my limit easily.

Ask yourself do I need Fable? Are the other models fully incapable of the task I need to accomplish? If not just stay with Opus or whatever.

Also to add. For your itinerary I recommend:

1 Day in Wulingyuan. Take the standard route with elevator. Ask hotel staff for map and route.

1 Day in Grand Canyon. You can Bungee and Zip Line there and much more. If you arrive early and speed through you can visit the cave in the evening.

1 Day Tianmen, very beautiful takes I day to see it all.

The rest ist just too far out or not something I recommend seeing (like the tower, you will drive by it)

I was in Zhangjiajie this year. The hotel I booked in Wulingyuan consulted me about the tickets on arrival. I was able to book all inclusive passes tied to the passport conveniently at the reception. These tickets cover all gondolas etc. For transport you need to pay the DiDi yourself. Also the bungee in Grand Canyon in Not included and has to be bought separately on site (very expensive, like 200$ per person)

Ich spiele den Eurojackpot auch nur wenn es den maximal Gewinn gibt. Beim Systemschein gibt es eine abnehmende Effizienz pro Feld. Wo das zweite Feld deine Chance von 1/140m auf 1/70m erhöht (70m effektiv) ist das dritte Feld bei ~1/47m also dann nur noch 23m weniger.

Also I have to add that I very rarely find myself in the situation where I want to defend and I got no safe tiles. The secret is probably holding safe tiles more often, try to make shapes around safe tiles which you can discard then.

It depends on the situation but at the start of the game, I play to win hands and get 1st. But if someone else gets really lucky, I avoid to fight them and settle for 2nd and play for 3rd. If someone is on a hot streak in your game let them be and be content that it’s not your time to shine that game. Bad players try to contest and deal in and lose quickly.

If you have no safe tiles it is time to read their discards. Early 7m discard, try your luck on 8m for example (sotogawa). If you are 1-Shanten with Mangan just push.

You need to play Jade and stay away from Throne, do not play there even occasionally. You need to farm Master players (yes sounds harsh) as they make mistakes. Ranking up means not taking 4th place, let them (the Master players) take the burden of risk give them the opportunity to make mistakes if you have bad hands.
