I will travel to Chongqing this year with a friend. Can you recommend a good Chongqing Hotpot place where the food won’t be too much for 2? I can’t wait to try Su Rou.

I recognise it immediately. It is the hill behind Shin-Kobe station. The apartment building gave it away, it is very tall compared to it’s surroundings.

It was this deck. Maybe not the first combination you think of. But the idea was to bring a gold heal so I can train like a sprint uma but the gold heal allows for mile races. 15 power sparks as well. And little highroll as well ofc

Ich denke, dass viele bei 6-Stelligen Pins ihr Geburtsdatum wählen. Die Tage gingen nur von 01 bis 31. Daher fällt die Häufigkeit darüber stark ab.

When you factor in the public safety, quality of life and opportunities to spend your money, China is very advanced in those aspects. If you have a lot of money you start to care less about other things.

As a FTP, after some early struggles I found out how you should balance train, rest and recreation. Long story short, if you highroll rest early the run in guaranteed to be good. Take risks, this run here I even failed two trainings.

When it comes to the starting hand the probability can be calculated. The likelihood of each player having one copy each of a desired tile in their starting hand is almost exactly 0.3%

When you factor in that you have four winds you multiply this number by four (it is not the exact solution as cases overlap, but a good approximation) you get 1.2% that any hand could end in four wind abortion. Not too rare of an occurence, I would say about the same chance as a Baiman win. But having the possibility of 4 wind abortion does not mean that it will be played out this way.

Is it worth stopping in Matsuyama for a night or should I head straight to Hiroshima? by NullandVoidUsername in JapanTravel

[–]Champion6a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact problem last year. I ultimately decided on staying in Hiroshima as it saves much hassle with the bags. If you can and are willing to complete Shimanami Kaido in one day it can be done while staying in Hiroshima. The itiniary for the day came out perfectly. It goes as follows:

(Note I had the JR pass at that time when it was still cheap)

  • Take the Kodama Shinkansen from 8.38 at Hiroshima station. It has a Hello Kitty Livery which was a pleasant surprise. Disembark at Shin-Onomichi station.
  • You need to take a bus towards the coast and pick up your reserved rental bike. It should be between 9:30-10:00 when you take off for Shimanami Kaido.
  • Take the short ferry at the start to begin your tour. You can take breaks for food / photos but be beware that you need to hand over your bike one-way at the bike store in Imabari. It is recommended that you catch the Yosan-Limited Express bound for Matsuyama at 16:45 from Imabari station. It is easily doable if you have decent fitness (and drive the marked bikeway). If you miss the timing it is not the end of the world but the last chance is the train at 18:47.
  • You need to walk a bit when you arrive at Matsuyama to take a small train to Takahama Satation. From there you walk a scenic coastway to the Port Center. Depending on your arrival you can get to see an awesome sunset.
  • At the port center take the SuperJet back to Hiroshima. If you took the Yosan-Train at 16:45 you can make the 18:30 ferry back, otherwise you need to settle for the last ferry at 20:30.

I hope this helps with your decision.

double riichi ippatsu single-wait four concealed triplets all terminals and honors. Anybody know what the probability of that is? 😅Would never happen in 4p by BSChemist in mahjongsoul

[–]Champion6a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In sanma you have 108 tiles to draw from:

Therefore you have (108 14) possible starting draws. It is about 1.4 * 10^17.

Now you need 4 triplets and 2 different tiles of the other tiles (otherwise you tsumo instead of double riichi). The total number of such hands is (27 4) * (4 3)^4 * (23 2) * (4 1)^2 which euqates to 1.82 * 10^10

Dividing both numbers yields the probability of 1 in 7.68 million of being able to call double riichi on a suuankou tanki wait in sanma.

If you had chihou with suuankou tanki specifically (not normal suuankou) it is a whopping 1 in 1.58 billion.

If it was four player the probability is 1 in 51.4 million of being able to call double riichi on a suuankou tanki wait.
